Had our pre wedding menu and wine tasting evening that included a room and breakfast, just to make sure we were happy with our choices. food in the evening and breakfast was amazing. Wine was great. Staff and their attention to detail was superb and our room was great too... many thanks to Niki for making this all possible at such short notice. So looking forward to the day now...

this was our first visit to the white horse and wow, which was a fantastic place full of character from wall to wall room clean and for all these little things including real coffee earrings lol and a selection of board games in the lobby. we had happy enough to have booked in the evening and the food was wonderful, the staff could not please again, breakfast was also excellent with a great ordering

amazing place eating was super and service even better! my favourite place to eat, drink and stay! if you can get the comfortable sofa and armchairs through the long burning stove, they are for a wonderful winter tasty as well! I think it's the best pub that I know what the renter and her team is credited. highly recommend it to anyone who wants quality in every wise and it is very good price too. 5* quality round! after a wonderful, swinging walk on the south harding down we decided to visit the white horse for an early dinner after we had noticed from 2018 good pub guide that we were very close (3 km). fabulous pub, extremely welcoming renter and bar staff who made us feel like old friends (who had heard of us until ten minutes before we arrived) and they made a great fuss of rona. great food and table service was excellent. next time we'll go south harding down. highly recommended.

Me and my now husband had our wedding reception here and omg it was amazing.. cant fault anything, from the minute we walked in to organise it all Nikki and Poppy made us feel very welcome and relaxed about it, nothing was too much for them. They Andy and the whole team at the white horse have been truly amazing we had a great stay, all the rooms (expecially our room with hot tub) were beautifully designed and i am still getting guests tell me how beautiful everything was a d how friendly all the staff were. From start to finish we had a blast so thanks to all of you, you really made our day more special Kelly and Cameron xx

I loved it! book a last minute stay for Friday, including dinner reservation. from the arrival we felt welcome and could relax. the room was very well equipped, with a very comfortable bed, great amenities and a shower. we enjoyed drinks before dinner in the cozy bar and then had dinner in the restaurant. eating was really top quality; they can say that the cook knows his things! great weep to accompany the meal. the breakfast (included in the room price) was relaxed and again of great quality. the white horse would be highly recommended. the only small criticism we had is that we found the bar/restaurant quite cool, and we felt that our main courses (cover and pork, tasty) could also be ser...
