winmills is well located and on the side of the commons, ideal for large meetings, indoor and outdoor. we tried the steak and frying, everything was brilliant

sweet little pub from the common. great in the summer months and her garden is always packed! beautiful selection of drinks and a good location. would recommend!

Definitely worth a visit!. Fantastic old hotel that has been mostly kept in original condition on the inside. Lots of different rooms and areas to explore, and they decor is nothing less than quirky and original! Very cosy and homely feel, but still buzzing and exciting!

First time visit here in the afternoon. Wonderful and friendly staff from manager to waitresses exceptional service!!! Lovely atmosphere, clean and attention to detail. The manager was so welcoming and our waitress May made sure our experience was perfect . My husband and I will return for the outstanding service and fresh food.

My husband invited me for a romantic dinner and at first I didn't expect much. Our server was Kitty, a lovely, young woman. She helped me to choose a perfect dish for me as I have a gluten intolerance. Chefs agreed to change a few things for me, to make my dish enjoyable. If you have an allergy, this is the pub who cares about it! They do reccomend, and help you choose a dish that will suit your needs! Ver carta

on Sunday night there was a chance, and although they were busy, they had space for four. that was not too long. Eating was really nice, perfectly cooked meat. a good menu choice for the children. the bill was not as big as expected. 2 round drinks, all with additional sides, and puddings for the four of us came to 86. beautiful staff. beautifully furnished for the festive and 2 roaring fires in our view. is visited again. many thanks.

I asked a starter to a head I was told was only a double part, but it was still quite small and also not included ingredients as advertised. they gave me a tortilla to maintain for the missing part and to have charged me for a first part, such a good answer from them. all our meals were delicious and really beautiful presented. the workers were polite and attentive and were very accommodating with our young daughter who supplied them with crowns! wein was very tasty and peroni at the point.

This is a popular spot in summer for drinking outside on the fringe of the common. Slightly pricey for drinks, but food averagely priced with the benefit of outdoor seating, albeit facing the road rather than the common. Plenty of space inside too, with tasteful interior decoration, notably the lighting in the main room. A TV room offers sport viewing too, so all bases are covered I had a lamb roast which was pretty good good portion of lamb done well.
