Friendly staff, the food was very nice too. Chicken and mushroom pie with home cooked chips and Thai green curry was delish too.

The atmosphere is not particularly welcoming. The food is overpriced and disappointing. The drink selection is limited. However, the decor is quite nice.

greeted and showed that the table waiter was friendly and gave us time to see the menu Sunday evening meal beef for me and sweet roast for my vegetarian friends the meals were delicious sweet roasts looked homemade and selection of veg in separate keepers all piping hot

I had a lovely dinner on Sunday, but the food wasn't quite hot; it was more lukewarm. I think it would be nice to have a gravy boat for serving gravy at the table instead of having the chef do it. But that's just my opinion. Overall, everything else about the meal was beautiful.

Disappointed with recent experience. welcome was curt and unfriendly. Food was dry, presentation poor, disappointing given cost of meal Not in line with previous experiences at the woodmans arms which until now had been one of the more reliable dining offers in our local area. Not feedback given with any sense of relish as we have senior hospitality experience of over 30 years. We did feed back when prompted at the check back to the waiting staff without any desire for discounts or money off the meal Sadly we will not be back. Ver carta
