"Never heard of or been to this place before when i 'd been in Berlin previously, so thought we 'd give it a try as i 'd read about it and it 's famous schnitzels and traditional German Fayre. Once in, we were shown to a table within 5...minute even though the place was very busy on a Saturday evening, we ordered the grosse schnitzel Hawaii and wasn 't too sure what to expect. To say we were awestruck is an understatement! the plates arrived with not one, but 2 massive schnitzels on top of each other, with a pineapple and cheese on top of that, the potatoes were all piled up underneath and around the side of the schnitzels. The table next to us, presumably locals, who knew what to expect were all laughing and joking with us when the food arrived, i think they saw the look of surprise on our faces! So approximately 45 minutes later and after a few rests we finally just about managed to eat the schnitzels and downed the superb Schultheiss beer, We could hardly stand up afterwards! And the best thing about it all, it was less than 35 Euros for the lot! If you want a traditional local place with good,relaxing atmosphere and superb food and beer, you won 't get much better than this place. Fantastich!"

Schnitzel kingdom not the best one of my life (too thick and pork based I prefer thin veal but huge portion, even if you eat a lot, the small (kleine)...

extremely rude staff we had literally feared to approach the waitress and finally forced to pay the tipp when leaving. eating was okay and I suppose it's a good place for local experience.

Read the reviews so decided to go.staff was good.Food was great ,i had the homemade beef roll. A bit salty for me but the sweetness of the purple cabbage balanced it out.Plus the beer was good too.

reasonable prices, delicious food and nice drinks. but the waitress we had made our visit a little intimidating. snappy and impatient. I have our order wrong, but don't like to complain about their kind. when the payment said that the systems had spent so that could not. use a card. they win a 50 and not offered, changed. very rude, so it would not recommend. as a shame as good food.

Food is great and cheap, portions a huge so go there hungry! Unfortunately the gray hair German lady (the polish one is so sweet! is rude. She doesn’t let you speak German if you try, she switch to English but in English she is absolutely...unhelpful. She never makes you feel like you are welcome. If you pay by card she loudely says that THE TIP IS NOT INCLUDED. Well which tip for such a service, lady?!

a the Greek type living in the opposite has visited this restaurant when he spoke to us with my wife that we wanted to find a restaurant with German cuisine. decoration is typical German, food was very delicious! a waitress was very smiling and attentive and help us. with the order. my hamburger style schnitzel was excellent and great! my wife also had a stew very tasty! the apfelstrudel at the end was unfortunately not nice, we could not find a piece of apple.

I went there twice with a friend, on Wednesday at dinner and on Monday at lunch. We didn’t wait for a seat and the waitress was super super nice and speaking with a very good English she spent time explaining the several traditional dishes from...the (English-version) menu! The service was quick, the portions huge and of a good quality! We tried the cutlet, the pork leg and a dish with beef and red cabbage, all of them must be tried. Finally, the bill was quite cheap, we spent less than 15€ each both times ordering a main dish (that is more than enough also for a rugby’s player) each and a beer water. Overall, it was a very good food experience in a very nice setting. Thanks again!
