"as a food valuer and someone who ate momo in nepal, thailand and san francisco, I was disappointed by the beef mom and atsar (pikkles). I get that western restaurants make it less sharp and it can not always taste authentic, but this bark. Momo was dry (not fresh), hot (soaked steam), and the sauce tasted like bland tomaten. I guess they don't use the right flavor to make their dishes. if they want to advertise as Nepali/Tibetan food, they should make the seasoned at least correct. marinate the meat! this is what they are alienating as Nepali/Tibetan food to unsuspecting? what a demolition and a spot on the local plate and culture! to add to the bad experience, was the service not great at all with the male waiter/owner/manager? I'm mad. I understand he's busy, but at least be warm. we have a little more to order and he just went off to say he'll be back. he did not and the female waitress (which was friendly) came instead. also he held the female waitress in nepali (I speak nepali) like a male chauvinist who was uncomfortable to observe. in one of the commentary here, the owner says the reason why the momos are expensive because they are homemade, made with high quality ingredients, and made high intensive. I've done momos before. how to make them highly intensive? and also homemade and high quality should be given one. Momo is a staple food with local ingredients. these things do not make ridiculously expensive momo. instead of just rejecting negative comments or just apologising, they would do well to do something about it. totally disappointed and not again. that's not momo, not even close. it is a watered version and a bad version. bad eating, bad service, too expensive."

amazing and authentic eating. from the city center in altona, in a quiet residential area. the best momos I have eaten in Europe to this day. very popular with locals. must be booked on a weekday.

Tibet food is a balanced mix between Indian and Asian dishes. It can be spicy or not, but you get deliciously cooked meat/seafood and vegetables, full of flavours. This restaurant has also a very cosy vibe to it.

A group of us went unexpectedly for a late dinner and they were able to get our order into the kitchen before it closed. The food came quickly and was delicious. The dumplings and curries were some of the best I've had in awhile. Our...server was also very friendly!

As the name suggests , we thought it would be a speciality Tibetian cuisine . What we found instead was a mix of Indian , Nepalese and Tibetian ... using brand Tibet . The food was acceptable , friendly owner . The restaurant is given...a mountain restaurant look with colorful cloths hanging everywhere .

we've been there before and never tried. it was time to do that yesterday. we had a good spicy tasty coco suppe to begin with various vegetables. then followed with different momos and a friend nudel. the momos came fresh and very. hot steaming as it should be. on my side my si momo was sharp as I like, that is to say very sharp as desired. you did it well. we're coming back.

We sat in the private seating near the Bar. The ambience of the place make you feel like you are in Tibet. The placemats have images of attractions from there and a one liner explaining about it. The Menu is interesting and one can choose...from a variety of dishes. The couple are help you in choosing what best suits your taste. The service is quick. Overall a great dining experience.

the food is in the did good and came very fast. the room is small, somewhat narrow and tradition-conscious. reservation required. Unfortunately, the personal seemed a bit hard and inflexible for me. for example, our conversation was rudely interrupted several times, an extra portion rice seemed to order. to be surprising. I wouldn't go back. there are much better Asian spots in hamburg.

The restaurant is a lovely small treasure close to the Buddhist centre in Hamburg. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable and the food is absolutely amazing. It is delicious, authentic and the menu has something for everybody on it with a healthy portion of vegetarian...food for the Buddhists and others so inclined. The staff is professional, friendly and efficient and if they know you well, full of jokes. I love coming here.

I'm from India but having grown up in nepal always have love for nepali food. I was travelling to hamburg with my wife from spain and she found out this restaurant on apple map. Just to try our luck we visited the restaurant and to...my shock they food is very close to food we cook at home which make this restaurant an excellent choice for people who are exposed to nepali tibetan cuisine. The girl who serves the food takes order was very courteous and in nepali we refer as Didi (means sister), she made sure everything was perfectly served on our table. Overall I highly recommend this place for food and snacks.
