"We have been visiting Heidelberg and at lunchtime we have been near the old bidge and looked for a nice restaurant. Just beside this nice door we found the restaurant "Wirtshaus zum Nepomuk". We could sit outside with nice sun protection. The waiters have been very friendly and asked us several times about our wishes for lunch. We got the menu and found it very interesting. Not too many things on offer but we found good international food and specialities from the area. Also the prices have been attractive. Lunch ended fine and we would come back at any time we are back for visiting Heidelberg again."

"when we arrived late in the nearby holiday inn express hotel, this restaurant was suggested by the staff at the reception. a 5-minute walk brought us to this inviting restaurant that had a cheap menu - I had pizza and beer - and a beautiful environment. the waiter was helpful and spoke very good English, as apparently most people in heidelberg, and that eating was of good quality and was promptly served (this also applies to the beer!.) a good sound and I would definitely recommend it."

"When you drive to the Moods, you get doubts about whether you're in the right area. The access is hidden, doesn't look inviting and you think you're on a club grounds. This is also the case (Rugby, Baseball field as well). We were very surprised that it was very well visited. The service is very friendly. The card is small but very special. Vegetarians also find something. The dessert was then spontaneously assembled, so no a la carte, which was also very pleasant. We liked it very well and can recommend the Moods."

"Anyone who counts Linos and Neo among his favorites will find another favorite bar in Schilling. While the location itself convinces with clear lines and a modern look, the bar card promises creativity. If you have a little over twenty well-selected highball classics, the handwriting of the schilling is in ingredients and preparation. Not quite new, but not really bad, but just different. If you lack the favorite cocktail among the suggested mixed drinks, you will not be empty. Whisky Sour and White Russian taste excellent, for example, even if they have not found their own place on the map. So who doesn't want to drink alcohol, but want to enjoy the Longdrink on weekends leaves the house is good to pay a visit to the Schilling."

"a look into the map shows that this is not a typical petty-bourgeois restaurant. besides the very good classical dressings that form the basic of the card, there is also a small but fine area with Indian eating. also Spanish influence can be seen at some corners and end. The golden shepherd owes this international note to his Indian owner. We had on the one hand two Indian dishes and on the other a jägerschnitzel with a sparingly cream soup as an appetizer. I was already in some Indian restaurants and eating was excellent. also the scavenger and the suppe were super.Normally, I am a friend of small and scarce menus. but here I take one. we will definitely come back to taste more of the map."

"the price/performance ratio in makedona is very convincing. for just over 10€ you get a generously portioned, tasty main dish and a large beer. The service is very nice, the ambiente Rustikal.Bloß not let the external impression of a secret be fooled - a visit is definitely worth it.If I have to be in the opposite again, I will visit you definitiw."

"On entering the reataurant by it 's small stair entrance it looks a bit aged and decorated with lots of stuff you 'd expect at a grand aunt or uncle 's place and you 'll realize this restaurant has been there for quite some time, which adds to its flair....The staff is very competent and friendly, even when the place is bustling. The owner is a friendly person, keeping contact with his regular customers and knows almost everyone around. The menu encompasses a vast amount of dishes (a small outline is listed outside the restaurant), from Antipasti, through pages of pizzas to Sardinian cheese selections. Since it was our “Pizza Friday” we went for the “D 'Amore” and “San Daniele”. A medium Margharitas is 5€, the most expensive Pizza around 10€, the others somewhere in between. I had high expectations, but was positively surprised nonetheless: The dough was the perfect thickness to be a bit crunchy and still stable enough, the spicing ideal and the ingredients fresh. What I really appreciated was the amount of cheese, which was ample and delicious. The fresh basil and tomatoes on the “San Daniele” were a perfect counterbalance for the intense anchovies. We had a Monica de Sardegna red wine along with the food, which prooved to be a excellent choice, as well a the house 's Grappa as digestif. The knives were sharp and well suited for the pizza cutting, which is rare at pizza places in my experience, so I appreciate this much. Payment is possible in cash or electronically by Maestro, Visa and American Express Master card I 'm not sure, but probably too. To sum it up: The restaurant is a perfect place to have pizza alone, as couples or in larger groups, if you prefer a rather homely atmosphere instead of crisp tidiness. Unfortunately it does not seem to be barrier free accessible. The restaurant also offers take out."

"it has already been said about this place. interesting location next to an aldi opposite the crowne plaza; make sure they book the participation; great outdoor area; very local facility; and above all excellent service.A tipp. we were in heidelberg on Friday afternoon, so we passed around 14 o'clock and asked if we could have a table for two around 19 o'clock - "no problems" - without that we would have done hard. we arrived around 19 o'clock and were a selection of tables, although the place was quickly filled. English menus were brought together with a very good wine map - local and Italian. we chose a really pleasant barolo, which was decanted and served - along with good brot, very good olive oil, balsamico and ice water 5 groups that arrived were greeted by the staff with hugs, handshake and time with obviously masters. there were masters of a traditional - such a restaurant is. three experienced waiters serve the tables and a newer person at the bar. the waiters were not university students like many heidelberger, but experienced profis. my wife and I thought you could see her – without words – for each other – an eating here, a drink there, a conversation with people elsewhere. at 20 o'clock there was neither a free table inside nor outside - and the three have mastered it all with bravour. we had finished our eating and enjoyed the last wein when a few came in without reservation and the waiters mixed the tables. we offered to move into the bar - as it is unlikely that visitors would return here. "no - thank you, but please stay and enjoy her wein - we will make it" I have read here some comments on the cost of meal. the meat dishes are more expensive, but not undamaged. the pasta dishes are very, very favorable and excellent. the fatuccine is fresh, and I asked if I could have it instead of spaghetti for the carbonara - no problems - and all for about 13 €. my wife had the ravioli. at the end of eating both teller were absolutely empty - and the service size was not small. Our best Italian food after 5 weeks in Germany, and almost the best service we have met if not the best. a place where a drink money is gladly handed over."

"since yesterday we have been adored by heidelberg and in love with "le coq", which was initially planned as a small crown of our city tour, with ears, grimes and eyes. it is a great restaurant that truly loves its guests. you will receive here with a warm smile and charm, great and on an unobstructed style and pampered by the kitchen sooo. Yesterday we were allowed to utter gillardeau, yellowfin tuna tartar as an appetizer and bouillabaisse and coq au vin with tagliatelle as a lead. every walk, every food was to melt. a dream! most hearty thanks for the evening, dear "le coq" team!"

"My friend and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday at the Herrenmühle restaurant. It was just perfect, it's not better. We ordered the menu with an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. It tasted insane from the beginning to the end. The service was very accommodating and brought us to laugh. Furthermore, we immediately realized that the service has any idea what he tells us about. We felt very comfortable and definitely come back. Go on! Best regards."

"We stopped at Darwisch for dinner after coming into town on a group tour. It was within walking distance of our hotel and the center of town. We’d never eaten Persian food before, and everything was incredibly delicious. I don’t know what marinade was put...on the chicken, but it was tender and savory. Every dish was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The staff weren’t English speakers, but we were able to do fine pointing at the menu. (They did have English menus The only downside was that the staff didn’t let us know their credit card machine was broken until after we were presented with the bill. We had cash, but others in our group did not. It would have been helpful to know that before ordering."

"We were recommended by tripadvisor, is separated from the tourist areas and was very quiet. It was Sunday and the kitchen is open all day. very grata was the attention of the waitress, a young German with concerns in Spanish and defended himself very well, very friendly and attentive, as is patrik, the chef. we shared personal stories, photos of our children and helped us make the tourist planning. Some charms. Food: is good, not extensive. We ask for a typical sausage to start, they serve you a salad per person, the main dishes were the bleu cord that serve with potatoes (freezes) and a pasta with chicken and mushrooms (nata). Both dishes were good. There were burgers, meats, etc. but we wanted to try the typical things here. It's not our Mediterranean food, but we didn't look for that either. We recommend it. the price is good with respect to other more touristic areas."

"in the heidelberger weststadt lies the "da vinci", a dining room that wants to meet the upcoming demands. the ambiente is right, the service with the Italian waiter is good and helpful, the facility very appealing. we tried the wolf bark at the last time and were somewhat disappointed: very small portions, a little dry, a pity. for that, however, the dessert with tiramisu was absolutely pointed and reconciled us again at the end."
