"Awful experience. Strange chewy white meat that was supposed to resemble chicken but I assure you, it didn't. Salt and chilli chips were actually just chips with a couple spring onions thrown in the mix. Barbecue sauce was honestly diabolical. Nothing redeeming about this order, just downright disappointed. I would not recommend ordering from here if you want to enjoy the meal you paid for. Fabulous Chinese/Thai restaurant Takeaway. We had an evening sit-down meal, enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night. Friendly, helpful service. Worthwhile visiting. It's a small restaurant with a takeaway. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well used by locals so best to book a table! "This place is nice with pleasant surroundings. The staff are welcoming. The food is average and the service is incredibly slow. Regrettably, my experience with the steak sandwich proved to be a big disappointment. The bread was heavily laden with gravy and onion, with a mere morsel of steak, which rendered it into a state of sogginess the structure of the sandwich failed and disintegrated into an unwieldy mess. Would I come back? Probably not."

"I am sitting in my room at the sun inn as I am writing. It's a Sunday. I checked in at 8 15. The one young employee who was in the building was professional but informed me on arrival that the kitchen had closed. Bummer but it is a Sunday. Upon asking when the bar would close he told me 10pm. I decided to go to the shops and buy some cold sausage rolls and a bottle of wine to mitigate the early closing and grabbed a quick single beer in Dalkeith in a bar that closed at 11. My intention was to pay more for somewhere I could have several drinks without driving but I tried to make the best of my origional plan. I got back to the sun inn at 930 to find not a solitary light on and figured I'll watch some TV instead. Only the TV didn't work. I dismounted it after trying to configure settings on the 2 controls. The sky box was not connected sinse it was a flat wall mount and there was only a single accecible hdmi port, out of three, that could be used. That was already oucupied by the fire stick. Now it is sitting on the dresser since it cannot be remounted with both availible devices connected. 40 minutes of fooking around and nothing has changed. The bar is closed. No night porter, no TV, no breakfast and a broken bathtub. All the reasons I paid the extra to come here instead of the cheaper airport option have be removed. The room is nice though. It's as good as an airport one minus the stains on the headboard of the bed."

"After hanging up the phone after booking here I had a good feeling about the service from the off due to the demeanour of the lovely young man Kyle who took my call. He asked if I had a table preference, any allergies and if there was anything else he could help me with regarding my booking. I only had to say my name, date and time of booking once too. Quite rare these days when booking over the phone. I wasn’t wrong, the service was amazing from the moment we stepped inside. We didn’t have to grab anyone’s attention and they weren’t overly hovering. As an ex chef I was blown away with the price, size and quality of the food. It really was so unexpected. We ordered the trio of desserts as we couldn’t decide what to go for and boy they were good. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say it was the best dessert I’ve had in a restaurant for over 3 years!!! We had a bottle of red wine. A pint, an espresso martini, garlic flat bread, hunters chicken, steak pie and the trio of desserts and our total bill was £80. I was so impressed. I can’t wait to go back."

"Had a Christmas meal out with friends today. My first visit and I will be returning! The food was lovely and the company lovelier! The restaurant was busy, but not overwhelming. The portions were generous, so if you're planning to eat, I'd fast the day before!! Thank you to the staff for their friendliness and efficiency!"

"We came first time to this restaurant, we won't be coming back, starters was ok, the main course came and the paratha was burnt, when I looked at it and I said to the waiter I don't eat burnt food, can you get me another one, he said to me that we asked for it well done, we never said anything like that, he was reluctant to change it, I had to ask him again to change this for us to eat it, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, if I could give a zero star I would, thank you so much Muskhan for your lovely service x Alishah and Ronnie"
