The food was warm at best and considering they said it is cooked to order everything had like a stale flavour to it as if it had been reheated.

Incredible vegan options, just what Colchester is lacking! Delivery was within half an hour on a Sunday evening too, will definitely be ordering again

staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. They have a new vegetarian and vegan set menu which is the best food we’ve had in a long time. So happy to have this so close to where I live!

Great food. Friendly people. Excellent portion size, and, they have an extensive plant based (vegan) menu. The best takeaway in Colchester if you're looking for Chinese meat-free food. But also very delicious if you're not. (According to my friends)

Ordered all the veggie set menu to try and it was sooo tasty, everyone in the family was quite while eating. Everyone loved it 10/10 on taste and the service was perfect Told us would be 10mins and it was 10mins Very happy staff very clean Best Chinese in Colchester will be back Only problem is I should of ordered more

We are regular users of this family run business over many years. The food is excellent and very varied. It’s very good value. The chefs owners are very particular about the quality of their ingredients and the standard is consistently excellent. They are extremely friendly and my son who works near China Town in Soho says it’s better than food he’s purchased there.

I had visited Tins a few times before the new vegan/vegetarian set menu, but went today because me and my partner wanted to try some of the new dishes. We were not disappointed! The food was really lovely, with a really good selection. Staff were amazing as always too. We had the £15 set menu for two, with a couple of extra dishes and it cost less than £25. Brilliant food and really good value. I highly recommend Tins for other vegans. Thanks Tins, hope to see you again soon!

Normally tins is amazing they have super friendly staff the food is always quick and hot good portion size and there prices are very reasonable . I would normally always recommend but yesterday i got a takeaway and it was dreadfull. My pancake roll tasted like vinegar. It was so bitter. My partner got the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style and that was not good The chicken was rock hard. The Plain noodles we ordered were rock solid and the noodles in the edges of the metal tray were crispy like they had been microwaved and My beef and mushrooms were tasteless. But special chow mein and special fried rice were on point. Im not sure if I just picked an off day as they are normally amazing...
