"The booking was easy, the service was very good the only down side were the roast potatoes which were soft and soggy as if they had been reheated as the skin had separated from the flesh inside. This was our first trip since before Covid closed it down so thought it would be running perfectly but ice machine not working and ice cream wasn't cold enough so was a race to eat before it melted. We will have to try the breakfast again to see if they have replaced the toasters that didn't brown the bread on the first try then cremated it when you put it through again (luckily I like underdone toast). Hopefully have mastered runny eggs instead of the rubbery versions they used to serve, I bet there is still no fried bread. This always makes me laugh as most places seem to think fried bread unhealthy yet you are having an all you can eat fry up!"

Great value Carvery, £8.49 midweek and only £6.74 for meat free though plenty of veggie full meal options. Friendly service and good bar.

I made the reservation online 2 days before the hand, came to find in the restaurant, the reservation was not made even though I had the confirmation.

Good choice of Sunday Roast. Good ambience. It was very busy, but only to expect. The staff was helpful and the food was very nice. Would recommend as good value for money.

This booking app is garbage. The Carvery canceled our booking before we arrived for our reservation Your app obviously does not work in conjunction with the actual restaurant- what a joke

Excellent meal. Mum had a wheelchair so concerned how this will be managed. However, we were in a great position, wheelchair friendly and my disabled mum felt part of the meal. Well done! Food was just brilliant!

Waited over 10 minutes to be seated even though no queue. Busy due to an offer and seated rather close to another couple which was a little awkward. Serving staff were very young but very helpful. Food was good, bit of a wait for the vegan options, mushroom and ale pie, which was tasty but heavy. There could be more labelling of veg for main allergens or to cross ref with online allergen list (I can’t have milk). Otherwise a good value meal.
