EXCELLENT MEAL AS USUAL, BUT SORRY THERE WERE NO ROASTED PARSNIPS WITH THE CARVERY! WHAT WONDERFUL VALUE! AND A WAITRESS WHO WAS PATIENT WITH SENIOR CITIZENS!

Very good value and plentiful. They can be a bit tight with the meat sometimes and on this visit a lot of the food had run out and not been replaced but it was rectified after a few minutes. Can't really complain for the price paid it is a good deal. Ver carta

Downlands was busy. Long ques for carvery so difficult to navigate back to my seat as people blocking way. Service delayed as we had to wait for clean plates and seemed as of no member of staff had responsibility for this. Food was good as always once you got it. Arrived at 6.45. Sat down to eat at 7.45.
