We had pre-booked a group area for breakfast, on arrival we let Joan know we had arrived and were taken through to a room specifically set up for our group! Queue time was minimal, all staff were polite and friendly, the food was been topped up regularly and there were plenty of choices for our group. A very enjoyable experience and fantastic value for money.

I would also like to suggest that families with small babies be seated in a separate section of the restaurant. The last thing a couple or group of adults wants to hear while enjoying their meal is the sound of a crying or fussy baby. All in all, it’s a lovely place to eat and serves as a great bar to kick off a night out. Prices are quite reasonable during the week, but it’s puzzling why prices increase by £3 to £5 on weekends for the same offerings.

I visited this restaurant several times and was really impressed. this time I was anything but. .Three doors in the toilets of the ladies had no more disgusting, you did not work. .roast kartoffels were clear warmed up and terrible . I would rather have pork, but it looked very dry and no cracks had instead bark meat. the cooking service was less happy on the plus side was the waiting staff helpful and pleasant and especially our waitress was very efficient and pleasant Ver carta

The waitress was excellent,she went out of her way to make our experience enjoyable. The food was very good. My brother is vegan and his food was very good and the waitress gave him a list of food that wasn't suitable, he was a little put out by a comment from the person cutting the meat, my niece wanted a Yorkshire pudding but was too shy to ask so my brother asked for one, the chef made a comment that he wasn't really vegan if he had Yorkshire pudding. He felt this was a little insulting.

We have no complaints and are always pleased with the service and food, which is why we now visit weekly. My only minor suggestion would be to have more relaxed seating options, if possible. We've been coming every Sunday for a few months, and yesterday, for the first time, I had the sautéed spinach and Brussels sprouts, which were fantastic. I’ve tried the red cabbage before, and it was delicious as well. Other than that, I can't think of any other suggestions, as everything has always been wonderful. Thank you!

My only complaint, like with all Toby Carverys, is that the sauces (mint sauce, mustard, horseradish, etc.) are overly sweet, almost as if they've added an entire bag of sugar. The sweetness overpowers everything else, making it difficult to enjoy the flavors. I even find myself trying to find alternatives for the younger ones to avoid the excessive sweetness. I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been quite impressed. However, this time was a completely different experience. Three of the doors in the ladies' restroom were missing locks, and one of them didn’t even function properly. The roast potatoes tasted like they had been reheated and were quite disappointing. I initially wanted to order the pork, but it looked very dry and lacked crackling, so I opted for the beef instead. The chef on duty did not seem very enthusiastic. On a positive note, the wait staff were friendly and helpful, and our waitress, in particular, was both efficient and pleasant.

we're here a lot. the tasty eating is always great. the breakfast leaves something to be desired. but for an evening meal it is very good. the service is a bit hit and miss, but this is to be expected during the busy times. there are usually two of us, and in some places we have almost sitting on a small table. but overall we were very satisfied with our table. I visited this Toby carvery twice recently on a Saturday afternoon. It was easy to drive to, with plenty of parking. In fact the car park, grounds are well planted with greenery. The outside of the building is in good condition, the interior design decor are tasteful, in good condition. The tables are quite well separated, comfortable seating. There is a small bar area, also outide area, probably nice in Summer. It was very easy to book a table on the website, both times i've been greeted quickly, in a friendly manner, quickly shown to our table. The Carvery I consider reasonably priced I think, at £8.29 on a Saturday, (I think it is a bit less on weekdays, a bit more on Sundays. plus drinks... Ver carta
