the staff was amazing, it was really busy, but well organized and eating was delicious.

changed time of booking no problems, meats were fantastic, but serve themselves veg was left too long!

absolutely wonderful meal, the flesh was beautiful, especially the gammon. ayesha our server was fantastic, nothing was too much for her and she even took us a few container away before she ran out. often come here and continue!

The restaurant is dirty, food all over the carpet. Cutlery dirty. I used to love this Toby but the food was just not nice. Waiting in line for 20 mins. Overpriced. The only positive was the staff are very helpful and polite. I won’t be returning again unfortunately.

although eating was well cooked, it went too cold! we had not put our tellers on our table, set us and had a taste and it was cold! very disappointing! the personal was beautiful and could not do enough for us, a waitress took our teller to warm our food for us. the staff was friendly and helpful, courteous and professional at any time. there was a scandal over eating, I would have given 5 stars if that had been hot!

The staff serving the food weren't wearing masks. When you had chosen the items on your plate another member of staff the took the plate and escorted you to your table. Could not see the point of this. A much better system would be to issue the customer with a paper menu and pencil and they could tick off the items they required which could then be picked and brought to their table. No difference to a normal restaurant.

a warm welcome to the arrival and quickly shown on our table. eating was hot, which is a blessing in itself. so many places serve warm eating. there were many choices to choose vegetables and different meats. the cook served all quickly, so there was little queuing. the personal was attentive, without being urgent and offering more drinks. we wanted to sit for another drink after our meal and we were not expelled after we had finished our meal. a beautiful experience and very relaxing. Thank you!

we were at toby on a busy Friday night and sat very fast after the young lady had moved the tables to accommodate us. we were served by gary at the carvery and he was a really nice guy who was chatting to us all, was very attentive, listening and chatting. the young lady who served us was also very accommodating and attentive. we felt appreciated as customers. If we were back in liverpool, we would retreat with a hesitation. the quality of the food was of a high standard, that of the high quality of the service we loved it.
