"The staff, especially waitress Tia, were polite, friendly and welcoming. Serving staff not so good, quite grumpy. Food shocking for main course. Poorly presented, mushy, tasteless with very dry Yorkshire puddings. Dessert, starter and carrots were nice! Cancelled my second evening there and went elsewhere."

Parking was awful. Table we had was too small for 7 people. Food not as good as other ones we have been too.

Very slow very long queue for the carvery. Table was booked for 2:30 but we didn't sit down to eat food until 3:30. When we got back to our table, the pigs in blankets had gone cold.

Never. the food was hot and tasted nice. fabulous large crispy yorkshire and meat was so tender. jam sponge and custard was also beautiful. very generous portions! cannot wait to go back

Awful experience. Seating was cramped and too close, they were shoving people in areas suitable for 2 for 4 people. It was cramped, service was poor, food was mediocre and not hot and seasoned well. I won’t be returning

Was a bit disappointed as a lot of the things on the menu were not available,no prawns for the prawn cocktail,no ice cream available for any of the deserts,no treacle pudding,don’t know what else was unavailable on the menu,

this restaurant for our meal booked on the way to the city center of cardiff. location is just from A470 a few minutes after the m4. beautiful spacious pub and staff were friendly and friendly. carvery meal was error-free and great value for the price. worth the visit!

Very good all round considering The restrictions Not terribly happy about having to write 120 characters worth of a review. Keeping things simple and clear is probably the way to go rather than forcing us to do something that will just annoy!! And then possibly ruin the premis of a good review.
