While others stood in a long queue on a bridge in the center of Newlyn, we made a quick call and went around the corner to the pub best move we made! The atmosphere of food and service was impeccable. The staff immediately brought dog treats and a bowl of water for our **** (we never asked). The dining area was immaculately clean and the staff was so friendly and attentive. I would strongly recommend a visit. Thank you to the staff, a really chilled evening."

Tiny pub near the harbour Newlyn, Landlord Alan is a real ale nut and some of finest beers in the area can be found here.

One of the best meals I had for a long time. A truly authentic Cornish pub, no air and graces, but the food is from this world. Great friendly and genuine service.

Unbelievable food that we were drawn through the smell. We had the monk with squid ink bead and the sole with shrimp and nuts. I wish we could eat here every day. Also great service very fast and friendly. Sat outside in the sun, the beautiful and inside looked beautiful.

We had what was an extraordinary lunch with you today. Excellent service extensive small plate lunch menu of fish seafood. My wife and I both had the Tempura monkfish with smoked tomatoes, which was a aroma combo victorious v favorable. How people don't get out of the door to eat with you is beyond me.

Really loved the food here! Friendly staff, and helpful too. The menu was really interesting and a great welcome break from the usual “seafood pub grub” that’s in abundance in the area. Instead, we had fish dishes we’ve never had before and the gnocchi was incredible too. What can I say about the desert? Tremendous.
