"Went here as friend booked it for a group of us and on the recommendation of a few people. Sadly, we were very disappointed altogether but felt a bit awkward to complain at the time as didn’t want to upset friend who booked it. The service was very poor (albeit the manager was very friendly and bubbly at the end of the evening). It took ages to place our order, my and my friends meal was very disappointing (special beef bourguignon) was not very tasty and full of gherkins and the suet pudding was undercooked (beef inside was tasty) and we had to ask for plates to be removed after a long wait for table to be cleared. 2 friends had burgers who said they were okay. Will not be returning again."

"Love Biggles Lounge, never had Indian food that compares to what they dish up here. Great that they remember repeat customers and have helped me out by checking that I hadn't forgotten something off my normal order (I had and they saved me from the disappointment! . Service is outstanding and no request seems too much trouble, our number 1 go to for special occasions. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Our first Pecoro experience and we loved it! I ordered takeaway pizza and tiramisu (and two cheeky cannoli) online to collect at 18:20 on my way home from work, a Friday treat. It was ready to pick up bang on time and it was all delicious. Approx £32 for 2 great pizzas, a portion of tiramisu (very generous) and the cannoli. We’ll definitely do it again sometime and would love to eat in sometime too. Food: 5 Service: 5"

"I used to visit this place regularly when it was number 1 in Sandy but haven't been for a while. My wife is not very keen on spicy food so frequently I visit restaurants solo and what is it that restaurants seem to have about people eating alone even at quiet times? A few months ago I entered on a Sunday lunchtime after 1pm and was told it was not yet open despite it being advertised as such. Today I went for the Sunday buffet. I was not offered any poppadums despite knowing that they are extras. The food was OK but not spicy enough for my liking. The only waiter disappeared for virtually the whole of the time so was not available to ask for more drinks. He was more interested in waiting for the arrival of a party group. I was also alarmed by the number of spiders webs visible near the roof of the conservatory and spent most of my time watching a large spider in the centre of one of them! These could easily fall into diners food. When the party arrived a member of the kitchen staff helped seat them dressed in tracksuit bottoms and trainers. They asked for a certain bottle of wine and he never even knew what it was or realised it was on their list. At the end of my meal I asked for a coffee (or tea) and basically the waiter commented that he was too busy/couldn't be bothered to make any. Not a pleasant experience. Will not be returning in a hurry which is a shame as previously enjoyed meals there."

"Sadly despite a nice Sunday roast dinner the service and attitude of staff meant this was not a happy experience. Disappointing pudding and on giving feedback to a staff she said it was nothing to do with her as a kitchen issue. We waited ages for our pudding order to be taken but we 're happy to sit and chat as we could see they were busy. We ordered tea/coffee after and then half way through our were asked to move to the bar as another group were booked on our table. We were practically ordered off so moved to the bar that was heaving with nowhere to sit. Staff did find us chairs by which time we had finished our tea coffee quickly. When we complained the staff who had been previously rude to us she said abruptly you have an hour and a half The manager was aware of this as we paid to leave we complained again and he never offered to at least take teas/coffees off our bill. I wrote and complained and he replied saying we could have a complimentary dinner acknowledging what had happened saying he saw it all but thought he would see how things played out . Because of this I did not do my review and held off. However after four messages and an email asking to rebook I have had no response. Really didn 't make us feel very valued. Will not be returning."
