"we ordered the afternoon (you ask for 24 hours notice) and it was amazing! £30 for two (without drinks) and we got porkless cake (delicious) I think they make it there, with olives and a brilliant tasty chutney, cheese sandwiches and spicy cherry pebbles and avocado sandwiches (very good,) then a sweet cake stand with fresh baked (still warm scene (with jam) and bash. everything was so fresh and tasty, and more than we could eat! best afternoon tee I ever had (vegan or not). beautiful owners, dog friendly at the front, could not mistake it."

I took a lovely stroll from Hebden Bridge to Heptonstall and enjoyed a delicious coffee and cake at Towngate Tearoom. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the experience well worth the walk.

The food and coffee at Town Gate Tearoom are excellent. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I had a pleasant experience and will definitely come back for cake next time. I give it 5 stars. Thank you!

Came for a snack, but when we saw the Menu couldn't resist the Boeuf Bourguignon. This is not just a café we are coming back for a proper meal next time! Outstanding food and cakes, beautifully presented, and a charming place. Ver carta

This café is a hidden gem in a stunning location. The cakes are delicious and all homemade. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. We always make a stop here when we are in the area and are never disappointed. Highly recommend!

Lovely little tea room serving home made cakes and food. We had the leek and potato soup which was accompanied with a cheese toastie which was lovely and comforting on the cold wet day it was. Friendly owners too. We couldnt leave without takingbaway somw dwlicious home made cheesecake and bakewell tart!!
