"We were a little skeptical about this place. My husband is a local, born and raised, but he had never heard of this trattoria. We got lost trying to find it which set off his mood for this place. But that was quickly corrected when we were seated. We started off with a bottle (or several? of house wine (a DOC local sangiovese . We ordered affettati with gnocchi fritti and tigelle. The gnocchi were light and crisp. The tigelle were toasty on the outside and chewy in the middle, like a dense, but not heavy, crumpet. The tigelle were served with seasoned lardo and house pickles. We could have stopped there, but we had to have local pasta, too. This trattoria is known for Bolognese specialties including homemade tagliatelle with ragù, and tortellini two ways. You can order tortellini with cream or in broth. But why pick and choose when you can just order all of it, right? So we did. The ragù was a winner, as was the tortellini in cream. It's heavy though. When you are stuffed from a heavy meal, you have to finish with a digestif. So we finished the meal with a bottle of limoncello and amaro. It was a miracle we could fit in the Cinquecento after that."

We arrived quite late (10pm) and we were still very friendly welcomed. We asked directly the manager to choose the menu for us amd it was delicious, fresh and full of passion

This is real family business with full passion. All dishes are just top notch. Pasta, ham, cheese and home made bread of best quality. Even dessert, first time of this type and just fantastico .

Siamo stati a pranzo in tre: solo crescentine e tigelle buone, però sono molto piccole, soprattutto le mini tigelle, quindi ne devi prendere molte di piu) , 1 litro di birra ,1 acqua, companatico solito neanche abbondante) 1 fungo fritto,2 dolci e caffè: 35,00€ a testa!!!!!! Davvero esagerato!!!

Rivabella is my Monday restaurant when I work from our Monte San Pietro office. They are one of the few restaurant 's that are open on Monday and close to my hotel. They serve local food including great Cresentine and mixed cold meat platter, local pasta and meat. Ask for a limoncello after dinner which is home made. Ver carta

Locale molto semplice, antipasti buoni sia.funghi fritti che polenta fritta,affettati buoni. Purtroppo le crescentine erano molli e passate di cattura, vedi foto, così pure le tigelle. La cameriera a cui ho chiesto se facevano sempre così le.crescentine o se era un errore di cottura, mi ha risposto poco gentilmente, che le fanno sempre così. Non ci andrò più

The location is out on one regional road, the ambient is not modern and, possibly could need a refresh but, oh la la the food! The food is really good, not fancy or classy but down to earth good quality and traditional. Starting withthe antipasti misti to the fantastic tagliatelle alla Boognese to the cotoletta alla Bolognese. You get there not for the look but to be fed in a very nice and very Italian way.

passato molte volte nella vecchia posizione quasi inaccessibile. oggi perché è ora in una posizione molto bella con ampio parcheggio ne abbiamo approfittato, ottima scelta, bis di primo B.S tortelloni e gramigna alla salsiccia, poi aumentare eccellente e leggere non slegato e tigelle, salame di ottima qualità. il personale attento e disponibile anche il controllo del grenpass. trattoria storica che recentemente si è trasferita in un grande e luminoso locale, ben arredato, pulito e luminoso, ottima conformità con l'attuale normativa covid19, parcheggio non custodito riservato, prenotazione consigliata. Pasta fatta in casa, salse eccellenti, carne alla griglia tenera e ben cotta, saporita al punto giusto servito ancora fumo, crescendo friabile, leggera e non unificata, affettata di qualità, ' porzioni abbondanti, alta digeribilità'. Personale rapido e disponibile per ascoltare, orari di attesa nella norma. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

I've never been into tigelle and crescentine, but on evenings where that's been on the menu I've always hated tigelle and been OK with crescentine. Here that was completely turned around: the tigelle were really great and the crescentine I did not care for AT ALL. As another reviewer already commented, they [crescentine] were sweet ish and vanilla flavoured, not typical at all. You may like sweet and savory together and if so, go for it. However, I wouldn't order them again. We liked the homemade desserts, free water and the fact they brought the bottle of limoncello (which was a freebie) at the end of the meal.
