Visited with friends on Fri 29th. Warm welcome attendance by Carlo with his dry wit and staff. Excellent service and food quality. I had the asparagus wrapped in ham for starter and calves liver for main course. All food and drinks presented and tasted beautiful. Ver carta

Outstanding food and service, could not fault anything. The buffalo mozzarella starter was a delight and the Filetto Al Dolcelatte (medium rare) was RIDICULOUSLY good! Lovely mango sorbet to finish off. Very reasonably priced for a table of 6, we very much look forward to visiting again!

We have been visiting Carlo’s for many years. We know that we will always get a lovely fresh cooked meal and exceptional service. The sea bass is the best! It’s a family run independent business which appeals to us more. We would 100% highly recommend visiting this restaurant. There is nothing to fault at all.

I have been going to this restaurant for 12 Years and have always had a lovely fresh Meal, the food is always fresh and made to order. The Palma Ham Mellon is my go to starter Chicken Milanese with spaghetti in tomato sauce fresh Mushrooms zucchini It is cooked to order fresh and you can always ask for what you like . Carlo opened his restaurant on Sunday lunchtime in order for us to celebrate our 70th birthday with friends and family. What a fantastic time we had. Carlo and his staff ensured that the 38 people present were able to enjoy a three course meal, superbly cooked and presented by Giuseppe. Our guests could understand why we have been visiting this restaurant for the last 25 years. Thank you for making our day very special. Linda Roy.

A group of about a dozen of our Ethnic Dining Group had a most enjoyable meal here. We had made our choices in advance which helped to make the service most efficient. I was very happy with my prawn and mango starter, followed by liver, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by tasty courgette fritters, saute potatoes and broccoli in white sauce. My partner was equally happy with his tilapia. We'll certainly pay a return visit.

When we arrived the restaurant was chilly and the atmosphere felt quite clinical. My wife had a 2 course meal and I had a set menu each with a glass of wine (one small, one large) for £84 service £98! The food was nicely presented Italian but nothing particularly special. Everything seemed to be an expensive extra (starters are around £12-22! and vegetables (more). Over £18 for a large glass of standard Chianti. When we questionned the bill, the owner seemed quite unhelpful. Eventually he agreed to remove the additional service charge already added to the bill. Won 't be back! Ver carta
