"I have been to Da Paolo with 4 friends last Friday (Italian, Spanish and Turkish), hoping it would be our first visit in a long series. Unfortunately, it has been one of the worst dining experiences in our lives. The waiter was incredibly rude and...allowed himself to treat us like idiots for asking clarifications about the menu instead of answering our questions, settling from the beginning a very uneasy atmosphere. Here some dialogues: 1) If the taste of horseradish is strong in this pasta? Of course, it is called pasta with sausage and horseradish if not it would have another name, don't you agree 2) If we have anything in the Tageskarte? What do you want, a pizza? A hamburger? You came to the wrong place 3) The appetizer is cooked or cold Of course everyhing is cooked But you said there is cheese and ham Yes apart from the cheese, it is logic Later on, he came with the first appetizer and told me to remove my napkin from the table, as In this restaurant the napkins should be used, do you know . As I tried to keep calm and put it down ironically, I said: Well, I don't know how to use it Ah ok then and he took my napkin from the table and walked away with it. At this point I was going blind with rage, I stood up, took my napkin from his hands and went to the owner, who tried to calm me down saying that that unpleasant man was only joking The owner tried to fix things later by bringing us a small plate of (cold) fried lamb testicles and offering us a limoncello, but the evening was already spoiled by the rudest waiter I ever had the pleasure to meet. Apart from that, the food was nothing special and the price was incredibly high for a restaurant of this quality (and service). For 2 appetizers split among 5 people, 2 bottles of one of the cheapest wines, 1 bottle of water, 4 pastas and one portion of prawns we paid over 150 euros. There is a much better sardinian restaurant in Munich and I regret trying to change to sample this new one. Mai piú!"

we were booked for a business trip with a large group of us and had a set dinner of four curses that eating was fantastic and the sage ravioli from this world would visit again without a doubt

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very good. Service too is fine. The meat we ordered was good. But to our surprise, the vegetables on both different dishes were exactly the same. Nothing wrong with that, but the high prices ask for some more fantasy,...we thought.

extremely warm atmosphere, it seems in sardinia under weeping, images on the wall and other signs that they find in any typical restaurant on the Italian island. paolo is really funny and friendly, excellent service and good food. we had mainly fish that was delicious. absolutely recommended.

Came here because of a TA review. This restaurant is sensational. Both the owners, Marco and Paulo were so accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent. Marco was very gracious and took his time translating the menu and making sure we were very satisfied with our...selections. The ambience is superb, and we were the only non-locals there.

I was here with my gf to eat. the restaurant interieur is very beautiful and paolo and the woman make them feel comfortable. I think, however, that the quality of the products is somewhat overpriced. we spent almost 80 € for a main course and a dessert 2 glasses of wine, coffee, water and liquor). To be honest, there are better Italian restaurants in a few.

Stayed for a dinner. Unfortunately the waiter was very unpleasant, arrogant and let us very embarrassed during the dinner. We were really shocked by his behaviour. A dinner mate was almost fighting with him! Even if the food was acceptable, although very expensive, I wouldn't...ceirtanly recommend it. I sincerely do not understand such a high rating here in TripAdvisor.

I don't understand at all the negative comments on this Restaurant. I know Da Paolo since over 10 years and never had a single bad experience. The food is and was excellent. A small choice shows that all ingredients are fresh and made with love....The ambience is beautiful and it feels more like a dinner with friends than in a restaurant in Munich. The service is more than excellent, as mentioned, I feel more like being invited in a friends house than anywhere else. I'm absolutely sure that all the guests who come there for many years agree to my view...

Like many travellers to Bavaria we became a bit jaded by pork, after two days, and sought out something different. Again, on the back of TA, we went to this absolutely delightful Sardinian restaurant where the food was excellent. A smallish menu and only in...German and Italian. The insalate misto is enough as a sharing plate and the snapper, in particular, was cooked to perfection. The portions don't look huge but were very filling and we didn't make the deserts.
