"Don 't go to this restaurant, I don 't like being so critical and clear-cut and I respect other people 's work when it is deserved but there is a limit to everything. I don 't think it 's right to be made fun of just for being tourists and therefore of the series who sees these anymore . I am Ligurian and I could have returned if I had felt comfortable but it certainly won 't be like that, the evening and mood ruined by dinner with poor quality food, old and in small portions (the anchovies reported as house specialties were tiny and certainly purchased already ready at the price of 12 euros per saucer and there must have been 10 microscopic anchovies to say the least) the octopus with potatoes (which were missing the olives which had instead been indicated by the waitress but this is really the least of it) was dry and old, with the risk also of serving fish that can make people feel bad... the risotto much praised as a specialty is the least bad dish but absolutely not worthy of any note and I 'll stop here but I could continue... you can sense that this place has had old glories and probably in the past it was a real authentic Ligurian tavern but now unfortunately only a faded shadow of these splendors remains... my advice is this, start treating customers with respect and taking the work you do seriously, we are here feel offended by your offer. Homemade restaurant in the heart of Vernazza. Very friendly staff who even though we hadn't booked found a solution for us. Quick service. Very good food (us trenette with homemade pesto) and good quality for the price. Quiet atmosphere. My friend and I went here after a long hike, really excited to have some fresh seafood. We ordered the fried platter of fish and normally we are fish lovers but found this dish pretty gross. We got a couple anchovies that had an odd taste to them, but continued our meal. The next day we both woke up terribly sick, throwing up all day and even had to end our trip early. Actually, I shouldn't praise this trattoria too much, because then this cozy place is no longer an insider tip. Where even the locals eat, it can only be good. And so it was. Excellent food, great table wine, attentive service. And all this just a few steps away from the touristy mainstream of Vernazza. Best risotto with mussels I've ever eaten so far. My friend and I chose this restaurant as it was tucked away from the crowded area of Cinque Terre, hoping to eat some fresh sea food after our hike. We ordered the fried fish and were very excited to try it. Unfortunately, upon beginning our meal we realized that some of the fish had an odd taste. Regardless, we continued to eat later that night we both ended up vomiting and were forced to end our trip early as we were sick for the entirety of it.
