We stopped here by chance...my son was very hungry and then we selected the first restaurant we found at the entrance of the old Gallipoli city. It was a big mistake, the food is avg and the service just incredibly bad. If you can wait, find another one going more deep into the city. Be careful, it is not easy to find a good compromise price/quality in gallipoli. Ver carta

fantastic fresh fishes and moussels...The 'scorfano ' (red fish) I had eaten (carpaccio) was the best fresh ofod in my life...realy a masterpeace...much better than any sushi....with compliments to the cook...an artist...and to the waiters, too....The value is right...excellent food justifies the price...otherwise, please go to an any 'eat all you can... ' and good luck!

Ristorante di pesce. Qualità elevata. Piatti abbondantissimi. Abbiamo preso antipasti abbondanti crudi e cotti, cozze e alici. Polpettinrme di polpo fenomenali. Insalata di mare, insalata si polipo tutto freschissimo e buonissimo. Abbiamo preso fritture e grigliata mista. Ottimi vini. Consigliatissimo anche se il prezzo è leggermente alto, ma ne vale la pena per la bontà, qualità e quantità.

Sono un appuntamento locale. il pesce e i frutti di mare sono freschi, gentili la cameriera e in generale il posto è accogliente. Devo dire che questo è il posto migliore per mangiare nel mercato del pesce: i prezzi sono notevolmente più bassi del ristorante di pesca turistica nelle vicinanze e la qualità è molto migliore. il trattore la paranza è un posto molto più nicchia, per veri intenditori! Posticino appena fuori il centro storico di Gallipoli, sotto le mura, c’era poca gente essendo lunedì di settembre, siamo stati coccolati, la cameriera gentilissima e disponibile. Abbiamo preso un piatto di crudi a testa molto abbondanti, una grigliata mista in due, due dolci, una bottiglia di vino, un caffè e due creme al caramello (gentilmente offerte). Prezzo onesto rispetto agli altri locali che hanno la stessa offerta. Consigliatissimo.

I wanted to experience local fish market cuisine and first restaurant that invited me was Trattoria la Paranza. I ordered a grilled octopus pulp and calamari. Besides both were cooked in a mocking manner, proving to be not a Michelin tasty dish but a true Michelin rubber tyre, they brought me instead of grilled pulp the whole octopus, charging us for 50 Eur, the most expensive grilled octopus I ever ate, prices in best restaurants in Gallipoli not exceeding 14-18 Eur. The price of the dish was 14 Eur initially but they insisted I have to pay 50 for reasons I could not understand. Try to avoid this place even if they lure you to take a seat. I 'm a bit confused by other reviews of this restaurant. I found it to be one of the best meals on my trip to Puglia. 1st, Gallipoli is a lovely Greek-like town, with beautiful blue water, colorful fishing boats and a lot of history and amazing architecture. I wish I had time to see more of it. I 'd like to return some day. Our main purpose for this stop was to have lunch and for me to eat my 1st sea urchin. It was late and not many places were open. This is a problem in Puglia for tourists. They really do shut down and take a siesta. We were lucky to find La Paranza open. I was leery that we were the only diners. Unfortunately, they had no sea urchins. We opted to eat outside on the patio.... Ver carta
