I just dipped a coffee and something to eat. I was in no hurry so that waiting was not a problem, the place was very clean and tidy with a good atmosphere. I had a latte and wasted and wobbly baguette with salat and I must say the baguette was very well presented and tasteful.

"This was our first visit to Sherwoods and we loved it. We went for the carvery and enjoyed it. We did not have to wait long to be served and there was a good choice of meats. The food was all fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to going back and trying their main menu. Have already recommened the restaurant to family and friends. "Small but perfectly formed, this well established little cafe provides a wide range of home-cooked lunch meals and also an excellent choice of breakfasts. All very clean and efficient with a friendly, cheerful staff who are very welcoming and provide table service. "Just enjoyed a wonderful meal at Nathan’s Famous with my family of four. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious! One of the best burgers I've had—juicy and perfectly seasoned, exactly like the picture on the menu. My 8-year-old devoured his burger without any prompting, which says a lot! The shakes were excellent, and we even received a complimentary treat, which was very thoughtful. Thank you! "I recently had a Sunday roast at this restaurant, which is now transitioning to The Brambridge Arms. The food was of good quality and the portion sizes were perfect. The front of house team was very helpful and attentive to the service they provided. There is also a great covered area at the rear of the pub for dining on a warm day. Overall, we had a fantastic visit and highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning."

"I went to Steamtown this evening, for possibly the sixth or seventh time, and every time it has been lovely, but a friend has just suggested that I send a review: I’m not a particularly TripAdvisor review person, but in this instance, I think it’s worth it. You’ve got a beautiful brewery and pub, with an interesting and original decor, which serves its own beers and many others, but much more beyond that, and I think it has captivated people from all kinds of backgrounds in the area. Aside from the lovely beers that they produce , they do really good food, but beyond that, you have fabulous, attentive and warm service: you ask for a slight change to the food, and that change you get, and it is done with a smile, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world to do : it is for them, I think they enjoy serving people. Good beer, good food, great atmosphere, human warmth: surely the epitome of what we like."
