Tropical Filo - Menú

Deliciosa comida y dueños muy amigables. El ravioli estaba excepcional y la paella lucía increíble, aunque no la probé porque la había comido en la cena. Hubiera vuelto a probarla, pero estaban cerrados los lunes y tenía que regresar a casa el martes por la mañana. Apasionados tanto por el vino como por la comida.

We ate here during our stay in nearby Pineda. Accidentally fell upon this place and grateful that we did. The Italian owners were first class hosts and we ordered a number of different Tapas followed by Pastas for myself and my wife whilst our children (aged 6 8) had a Pizza each. Food was excellent and would highly recommend.

we were welcomed by max and his wife so we had a bottle of wine with some tapas when the wine arrived it was warm so we asked for a chilled one he did not have one only a bottled one with enough for two glasses which we had he then put the warm one in the freezer ?? when we got the bill it was 32 euros the wine was 14 EUROS ouch.

My girlfriend and I visited Calella last summer, and my experience with Tropical Filo still brings back mouth-watering memories. The pizza was simply fantastic. We ended up spending most evenings trying out all the different items on the menu, and service was always excellent. The waiter was the friendliest person we met the whole trip, and we still talk about our evenings there, almost a year later. 10/10 would recommend whole-heartedly. Expect a wonderful atmosphere.

One of the most friendly places we 've ever been to. We got there by chance and 've never regreted it. Vey nice aura: small tables, candles, flowers in the vine bottles. Delicious cuisine. And the main point is the service. The restaurant is the family one, possesed by wonderful husband and wife. We literally fell in love with the place and the owners. We 've spent there most of the evenings and still miss the restraunt and these amazing people! P.s. Try both types of sangria, that 's worth it!

Ate here last week for lunch on the last day of our holiday in Calella. The terrace is a lovely and well presented area to eat, with the tables stylishly decorated. Opted for the paella and it was a decent size with a variety of seafood included. The Panna cotta for dessert was the highlight for me ....home made by the Italian owners. The service was superb and the owners are extremely friendly people who understood good customer service and offered up a nice licor for free at the end of the meal.

Me and my girlfriend had our first holiday meal here and it did not disappoint. As always we are keen to indulge in the local cuisine therefore we wanted to find an authentic tapas restaurant and this was spot on. We were seated by the waiter who was very friendly and informative and all came swiftly. The tapas were delicious especially the chorizo and this was then followed up by a mixed paella to share. All the food and drinks were very reasonably priced, like most of Calella to be fair and i would definitely return if ever in the area.

¡Comimos en este restaurante dos veces porque nos encantó la comida! Las tapas estaban realmente deliciosas y tuvimos la suerte de probar un poco de cada una, que incluía pulpo y mejillones. Mis dos hijos, que son unos comedores exigentes, tenían una amplia selección para elegir y pidieron pizza, espagueti carbonara y lasaña, que no tuvieron problemas para terminar en ambas ocasiones. Este amigable restaurante es perfecto para parejas o familias, su comida está preparada y presentada de manera excelente y definitivamente es una visita obligada si te encuentras en Calella.

My wife and I had a diner on a Saturday evening (10-09-2016). We were the first to sit down, but the place looked very nice. We were welcomed by our host and were given very good advice and explanation about the wine, and the food. Usually the portions in an Italian restaurant are quite big, and I don't like to waste food so asked about the portions to make sure we didn't over order. The advice we got was spot on. We got a complementary dish of olives which were very nice. The tapas we had as a started were very nice (clams or in Italian Vongole and pincho's, pork in a curry), followed by a spaghetti carbonare and a linguini mairnara. This was freshly made.
