"It took a while to walk to Fabrik (which is the condensed name the locals use), but it was worth it. A little tricky to find without a map, it is tucked away off the main street but once it comes into view it's hard to miss. The building is quite distinctive, and the chatter from the garden will steer you in.There is no English menu to be had, but the waiters have a smattering and should be able to assist.Go with the specials. Otherwise, look to see what the locals are having. Lots of kids outside (a play area is provided), and garden tables are at a premium if the weather is good.The service is excellent, attentive and keen. I ordered blind from the specials board, but was not disappointed. The chefs clearly know what they are doing, not over cooking the delicate vegetables and preparing the dishes with great detail. Commonly, and deservedly referred to as one of the best places to eat in the area."

"Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Alles frisch und warm. So, wie man es von Subway kennt. Allerdings hatte ich bis heute nie ein Problem mit dem Personal. Eine Person meinte natürlich aus der Reihe tanzen zu müssen. Ein etwas magerer, mittellange Haare, Bart und mit nicht den besten Eigengeruch. Dieser Junge Herr, meinte mich wohl bloß zu stellen. Auf seine Frage was ich denn nun drauf haben möchte, antwortete ich mit einem simplen: „Einmal Eisbergsalat, Tomaten, Mais und rote Zwiebeln bitte.“ Darauf lag er mir ein einziges Blatt Salat auf das Brot. Was ja auch noch „ziemlich“ „lustig“ war. Dann meinte er aber noch zu mir, dass er keine anderen Zwiebeln sieht. (Sie hatten nur rote). In dem Fall tat es mir auch einfach nur leid, dass ich ihn seinen Job leichter fallen lassen wollte. Normalerweise sind Subwaymitarbeiter mit Humor allerseits beglückt, aber wenn er vorher bei meiner Freundin nicht freundlicher gewesen wäre, dann würde ich mich auch gar nicht beschweren. Also bitte nächstes mal die Clownsnase absetzen und einfach freundlich bleiben, so wie es die Kollegen eben auch hinbekommen."

"Ich und mein Partner waren an einem Nachmittag dort.Da wir schnell auf Tripadvisor geschaut haben welches Lokal gut bewertet wurde und am Wasser liegt, sind wir auf das Bootshaus gekommen.Leider eine absolute Fehlentscheidung.Bedient wurden wir von einem Auszubildenden, und 2 Damen, auf die Nachfrage woher er Fisch kommt, kam die Antwort vom Auszubildenden: "Das weiß ich leider nicht, ich bin Auszubildender."Das man mal etwas nicht weiß, ist okay, man könnte aber nachfragen gehen.Mein Freund hatte Schnitzel mit Pommes: - das Schnitzel wurde in der Fritteuse gemacht, die Pommes hatten leider keinen Geschmack.Ich hatte Brokkoli Spitzen mit Kartoffeln und Salat.Die Salatsauce ist auf keinen Fall selber gemacht, und meine Kartoffeln waren lauwarm. Dennoch habe ich einen Teil davon gegessen, weil ich mir nicht viel von der Bedienung erwartet hatte. Genauso kam es dann auch, beim abservieren hat sie gefragt wie es geschmeckt hat, als ich sagte dass die Kartoffeln leider nicht sehr warm waren, sondern eher kalt, hat sie es mit einem Schulterzucken hingenommen und ist abgedampft.Für dieses Essen waren die Preise viel zu hoch und der Service schon fast unverschämt.Anbei sei noch gesagt dass die Ausstattung absolut alt backen ist (was erst mal nicht schlimm ist) und leider ohne jegliche Liebe gestaltet."

"We had dinner here on the evening of our arrival in Neustrelitz. The signs of the restaurant call it ‘Due Fratelli’ but it is listed as ‘La Fontana’ on Tripadvisor (same address), which is rather odd. Maybe the place changed owners? As the waiter spoke...Italian, I ordered a pizza margherita with a green side salad and a small beer in that language. My companion ordered a pizza Popeye (spinach and gorgonzola) and half a litre of beer. We were both brought half a litre of beer in a glass mug with a handle, mine with the mention ‘una piccolo birra’ (a small beer). When my pizza arrived, it was not a margherita. The waiter apologized, saying he had brought me a ‘mixed pizza’ by mistake because I had ordered a ‘mixed salad’. My pizza arrived when my friend had already finished his. To keep him company I ate the salad I hadn’t ordered. Apart from lettuce, it contained cucumber, tomato and the inevitable onion rings I put aside because I hate them. The pizzas were nice enough and very cheap. We were also offered a grappa on the house, so we didn’t complain about the mix-up. We were probably just unlucky that day but we didn’t return to find out."
