"I decided to take my daughter and grandchildren to U Sushi for lunch thinking that a bowl of ramen would be the perfect thing on a cold day. We were shown to a table and given menus. The table and the menus felt rather sticky and unclean. The waitress took our order but we felt that she did not understand very well because of her limited English. My grandson asked for chicken wings and chips. The proof arrived with the ramen. Both orders were completely wrong not just swapped around but also incomplete. My grandson had to wait for about 40 min and when his food finally arrived, it was a most sorry display of undercooked miniscule pieces of chicken wings (or something else) and chips that looked and tasted absolutely ancient, at least re used. The owner of the shop asked the waitress to draw the curtain so that we could not see, swap the soup for our orders and bring them back. My daughter ordered ramen with mixed veg and soy soup. What she got the second time was udon noodles in really watery solution of soy sauce and one slice of shrivelled cucumber most certainly left over from someone's salad. My order was missing most of the ingredients listed on the menu and was cold. When we tried to complain, the owner became really aggressive, started shouting at us and told us to leave. My grandson who is 10 years old was quite frightened and the baby in the pram started crying. I had a mind to call the police but did not want to spoil the day any further. I would really advise anyone to stay away from that place and tell everyone they care about to do the same. Absolute shame and disgrace."

Confusing pricing; is it or is it not all you can eat? Bizarre decor. I'm being looked at by a stuffed penguin and Rudolph in the height of summer like I'm a natwest advert or something.

Have been three times now and really enjoyed it each time. Lovely, freshly prepared sushi. Have enjoyed both the all-you-can-eat menu and the bento boxes. Good value for money, tasty food and friendly service.

ramen is much worse than instant noodles. I ordered Donkotsu ramen (which means pork bone soup ramen). I could not feel any pork scent from soup and the noodle was horrible. I'm pretty sure this restaurant does not run by Japanese chef.

I find this place to have lovely sushi and their lunch deal cuts the price of sushi in half. However, waiting times for sushi is reasonably long. Despite that, I absolutley would receomend anyone who wants to try sushi or already enjoy sushi to come to U-sushi!

Japanese/Cantonese fusion mix of noodles, katsu and sushi. The mock chicken was amazing. I had wonton soup, I feel they could have thrown some more herbs and veg on top as it was a little bland until I added chilli sauce. Staff were friendly. Quite generous portions, £50 for all 4 of us and kids loved the food. Would go again.

My dining companion C Salisbury and I frequent this charming little delight often. I can safely say with conviction and certainty this place produces some of the best sushi in Cambridge. Kitchen to table time is almost instant and ingredients are very fresh. Decor and little notes on the wall are a great touch. Highly recommend.

I've been here twice now. I'm still experimenting with the choice of food, ordering something different each time and sometimes surprised by what I get. I did like the vegetarian gyoza dumplings. You can leave a message on post it notes on the wall and it is fun to read what people have written. The service was quite fast and the man was polite. The soft drinks are expensive. The soft toys are bizarre. The food is as you would expect small portions.
