Umami - Carta

Excellent food. Enjoyed Pho, dumpling soup and spring rolls, kimchi possibly the best I’ve eaten. Good for vegan options.

No question food is excellent, but the staff is so unfriendly and uneducated that they waste the experience. I recommend to avoid the place even though the cuisine is great. What a waste.

Nice simple place with fine service and good food. Its not a gastronomy place but it rarely lets you down. I’ve visited the restaurant on several occasions and they are consistent in what they do. Looking for some easygoing, yet good food, then this place...is a good option! Ver carta

This Asian fast food it great for a quick lunch, dinner. You have numerous options in the menu for food and drinks so there is something for everyone in there. The food is tasty and arrives pretty fast so I guess most of it is...prepared in advance. Simple dishes and simple flavors combined in a fast dish. Always great for a quick soup or burger.

The food is ok, but not that special. They served the food very quick so it's not fresh prepared. The place is also very busy and noisy. I went to an Umami restaurant in Rotterdam, but that was something different. The food was of a...high quality over there. So I was a little disappointed by visiting this Umami. Here in Berlin it was just Asian street food.

I’ve been there a couple of times with friends who really wanted to go. I find the service to be hectic. It seems to me like the stuff doesn’t communicate properly but that’s probably of how busy it can get. I’d visit during the more...relaxed hours as it truly gets crowded. The food quality is above average but it don’t think of this restaurant as a must visit. Ver carta

Will definitely return to Umami it's a very well publicised restaurant on social media and that's where I discovered it this can be a good thing or a bad thing but their reputation stands up to scrutiny, I found the staff and food to both...be excellent and sitting outside enjoying the last embers of summer eating some lovely food is a memory that will stay with me

A Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of a very interesting neighborhood in Berlin. The place was packed with families, couples, regulars and tourists like us. We were a group of with a year old and they could accommodate us after a brief wait for dinner around The dishes came out fast and furious and speed was comforting after a long walk around the area. The dishes did not feel authentic and caters to a Western palette but still well done. The liveliness on a Sunday night was also quite fun.

You can read in the menu: Golden Poularde crispy protein of your choice in golden coconut curry, cooked down with sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, hokkaido squash, carrots, potatoes, ginger and lemongrass, served with jasmine long grain rice I ordered to take away and there was...NO Broccoli, NO Cauliflower, NO Sweet potato and NO Hokkaido Squash on the dish and when I say there was none it is because there was NOTRACE of these vegetables inside. Also there were only four pieces of duck loosely throw on top of the very dry and little portion of rice which had also very little golden coconut curry"or none at all. All that for almost I will not EVER go there again, disrespectful! Ver carta
