"in the colder months, there is nothing I tend more than a warming bowl of hot noodles. Vietnamese pho, ramen, or even my favorite noble package mama tom yum taste will do. when I discovered the united Ramen sign when I drove my regular bus in the upper street, I had to be excited. then I went to home and has a little research united ramen is inspired by Japanese traditions, but also influenced by other cultural traditions the purist in me has thrown back at the brittle bulldog races that contain mini Yorkshire-Puddings yikes. we have kept an open mind, we have entered for lunch and I just went for the traditional Japanese classic chashu pork shoyu ramen with chashu pork, sojaei, menma, bok choi, bohnsprouts, nori, earlylingsaufion, shoyu chicken bones broth with thin noodles. the boar was nicely grilled, but the broth was disappointing. it tasted excessively salty and it had no riches or complexity to throw it a little wagamama at all. the noodles did not have this beloved Rarmen springship for them, they simply flattened a bit, chew and strong not on a good wise. obviously I ended it, but it was nothing to inspire a return visit for me. hansel ordered the spicy seuan tantanmen noodles (inspired by china) with dice pork, soybean, bean sputen, bok choi, fresh chili, spicy sesame chicken bone broth with thick noodles. this was much better than my classic Japanese court. the noodles were well coked and resilient with a beautiful texture. the slightly watery broth was much less salty, but had no taste despite the beautiful color. these yakitori style wings were on the daily special menu and were the most underwhelming thing we ate. I only ate one that is unusual for me. the strange sweet taste and the slim texture made them very inconspicuous. the cold Japanese sencha tee roast with honey was refreshing and the perfect palate cleaner. they have a bubble tea menu for those of us who do not have enough of"

I had the spicy salmon salmon ramen, my son had the Yankee doodle ramen. Both were excellent. Sat by the open kitchen and had a nice chat with the chef.

I want to like United Ramen because it is local for me. But they do strange things with their ramen– like add Yorkshire pudding — and their noodles are kinda sad, like from a package.

Good, but not overly impressed. I had the yankee noodle ramen and was a bit disappointed by its lack of flavour especially the broth . On the other side, I had a can of Seaweed infused japanese beer blue beer , worth trying.

Great ramen restaurant on Upper Street, love the concept of ramen with a multinational twist and the sides were really tasty too. Go for the famous gyoza and the ribs bite sized mochi for pudding we're delicious too! Highly recommended for the food and vibrant atmosphere.

Sarah Kemp's review of United Ramen on Upper Street describes the restaurant as a place where dishes are inspired by Japanese traditions and infused with various cultural aromas. The owner, Aaron, who is American-British, spent three years in Asia-Pacific and was frustrated by the lack of large noodle shops in London.

with ramen bars pop up like minions on banans in the last few years, I somehow lost interest after shoryu to kanada ya came with. united ramen should be different, it has taken the traditional Japanese ramen and injected it with various cultural influences. I was slightly fascinated, but let's be honest, it was the 50 off soft launch that brought us there.

I was intrigued by United Ramen because they offer a variety of noodle soups influenced by different cultures from around the world. They serve a unique Yankee Doodle soup with prawns and sweetcorn, as well as a British-inspired version on weekends featuring a Sunday roast in soup form, complete with mini Yorkshire puddings. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I decided to give it a try for a quick dinner. The restaurant's decor is funky with bright orange and violet furniture, giving it a playful and whimsical vibe.

After doing a bit of research, I learned that United Ramen draws inspiration from Japanese traditions while also incorporating elements from other cultures. Though I was initially skeptical about dishes like the British Bulldog Ramen featuring mini Yorkshire puddings, I decided to keep an open mind and give it a try. For lunch, I decided to go with the classic Japanese Chashu Pork Shoyu Ramen with Chashu. It was a comforting and satisfying meal that hit the spot perfectly. Overall, my experience at United Ramen was delightful and I will definitely be returning to try more of their unique offerings.

I was particularly pulled after united ramen because they made nudelsuppen and it shaved a little by serving several versions, influenced by diferent sharing the world. so they had a jankee doodle soup with pulled chicken and sweetcorn, and they have an English inspired version at the woken – in the grunde a Sunday roast in suppenversion, complete with small yorkshire puddings. (not too sure that if I'm honest, so payday rolled around and I decided to step and treat myself to a quick dinner in united ramen. they go into a room that somehow reminds me of a child's room clobular, funky furniture in bright, bold colors of orange and violet. one of my favorite color combinations. the place has p...
