"Just found this on Google maps as I was looking for where I used to live in Sicily while in the military... 30 years ago!!! I suddenly remembered the name of the restaurant I used to frequent: Valentino's. It made THAT much of an impression on me! This place is and was the absolute best. They treated my wife and me so good (as we were very frequent guests) and the food was superb! I used to get a pizza very often (with eggs), and also the Penne con Quattro Formaggio as well as the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Spaghetti Carbonara, which I totally forgot about until now. Man that is so good!!! Wonderful people there, wonderful food. Auguri to all the staff there. I have remembered you and your food fondly for 30 years. That should say something."

Conosco questo locale da sempre. Salvo e la sua splendida famiglia riescono sempre a deliziarmi e meravigliarmi per la bontà della loro pizza. Non la cambierei con nessun altra.... Assolutamente da provare!!!

I have lived for 7 years in Sicily. I traveled far through italy and sicily. I need to find even better pizza. the rest of the menu is also fantastic. the staff is a few of the friendly. you will feel like a part of the family here.

my family and I are here several times and we are always happy with the quality of food and worth the pizzas are great (four cheese) and cheap. the personal is very friendly. for example, when my two-year-old prosciutto e melone wanted., although they were out, they quickly went down the road to get a cantelope so they could make the court. the house red wine is good and only seven euro for a liter. we're going back.

personale molto cortese e prezzi contenuti (contenuti molto, vedi ricevuta) sono loro forti. per quanto riguarda la pizza, diciamo che è meglio altrove: poco condimento, poco lievitato e poco gustoso (forse qualcuno ama quello che per forse la sinistra di sabato notte ha influenzato la qualità: tempi di attesa elevati (forse gli asporti sono preferiti.) ultimo peccato non di recente: ventilazione insufficiente. Dopo che c'era una sera dovete lavare i vostri vestiti perché hanno assorbito gli odori della stanza (spesso cipolla) e con i gilet non il massimo!

"During a 5 day trip in Sicily, we had to return to this wonderful restaurant. Enzo is the chef and he knows what is best for you. Forget about the menu ask what he recommends. The waiters are young, kind, professional and speak well...English. So no problem understanding what was fresh in the kitchen on both occasions. On the first evening we had only fish and what delicious cooking. Fresh, well prepared and very balanced food. The grilled Sicilian large prawns and the grilled sea bass were outstanding as the rest of a total of 10 fish, octopus, shrimp and more dishes we enjoyed. Enzo suggested the sparkling white wine (excellent choice). Honest pricing. Before leaving we indicated that we wanted to return 4 days later and were just welcome. This time we wanted to taste a broad range of what the kitchen offered: First the encrusted (bread) mussels in a red tomato sauce it was like the sun came out of this dish when we broke the crust. Perhaps one of the best Italian dishes ever! Then on to tasting the outstanding house pizza with a dough light and crispy, tomato, ham and cheese simple ingredients but with an outstanding taste made by the pizzaiolo Carlo. Then on to the meat of Angus beef, tender and tasty, a large salat, crisp and fresh. Enzo suggested a bio Nero d'Avola red that surprising paired well with it all! Dessert was suggested again by the kitchen as fried paste covered with Nutella and paired with a sweet Zibibbo. All in all an outstanding meal with a reasonable pricing. As we intend to visit Sicily again this will be a restaurant to return to. What more can we say?"
