"We popped into this restaurant to make a reservation for the next night as it looked busy for a Friday night so we wanted to make sure we got in on the Saturday evening. I asked for a table for 4 people at 6.30 and the owner asked if we could come at 6pm instead. We arrived at 6pm and were seated without being asked if we had a reservation. After 40 mins, we hadn’t even been asked if we wanted drinks. Eventually our order was taken, although the menu seemed to be out of date as they didn’t have the wine we wanted and we could only have chips with our main meal even though the menu stated jacked potato as an option. 20 minutes later our drinks arrived. 45 minutes after that our food arrived, the waitress said she had 3 meals but couldn’t tell us what it was. My brother had a pizza which he said was OK. The rest of us ordered Polla Alla Crema which we have had several times in numerous different restaurants before but it was very bland with no flavour in the white wine sauce at all. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. The food and service were terrible and we will never return."

Dirty, not authentic Italian. Coleslaw with calamari, lettuce leaf on top of a tomato seafood pasta alongside another crispy calamari, one olive and lemon? The place makes no sense and needs a good clean. Plates come out dirty on the edges. Weird vibes and don’t recommend.

Why 5/5 it’s simple. It’s fantastic. The whole experience. I remember it opening and going with friends , and today so pleased we dropped in after returning to the town this year. Pizza best since we are in Rome Atmosphere just great Staff you have to experience it. Superb. This will be our place for pizza now we are back.

Well on first impressions a nice quirky restaurant however I know consider it be grubby dirty,toilets did not go down well. Found food very basic,average at best hair found in pizza ,wine Brought to table open no cork or top ? Kebabs ok chips awful more food left than eaten party of 8 present. Must be better places to eat one to avoid.

Visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. There were a good number of diners in at various times in the evening. The owner was the only person front of house and he is super friendly, efficient and perhaps a tad eccentric in a nice way. Service was great and the food and wine were also great. I had the prawn cocktail and then the veal. All polished off with a bottle of red and the cost was more than reasonable.

First impressions greeted by a very enthusiastic waiter and shown to a table. Obviously this act was to try and cover up how bad everything else was! Table was sticky, cutlery grubby, glasses not clean. Ordered a bottle of Valpollicella to be told hadn’t got any but had an alternative. Fine until we went to pay. Tried to charge nearly £4 more because it was a more “expensive” bottle and also tried to charge more for garlic bread because he supposedly gave us a larger one. Mains were average.
