"Great restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice in here and the staff are very friendly. The food is to put it simply, delicious. Don't expect large portions, it's not that type of restaurant. However, the quality shines, it's very comforting food. The price for the small dishes is very reasonable, but quite expensive for the larger plates, however that's probably just the economics of eating out these days. Oh and side note, the decor is awesome. Just remember it has no parking, so you will have to find somewhere in town."

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."

"they are no longer open on the afternoon. darren was friendly enough to offer me a take-off, but only accepted cash and no card or bank transfer. He led me to an ATM at the BP station they didn't have. I had to run over 3 km around kwik save to the next cash machine. this delay caused the eating I had ordered to be so bad. I ordered the bada boom gluten-free and the chocolate caked (has gluten). it took a lot to walk to get here, the nearest bus stop is 1.5 km away and a slightly inclined road. I couldn't enjoy sitting outside. it also found carb overload full of kartoffel chips and a hash brown. the grinding time is very dry, since no sauces were provided. the donut looks and has the texture of a donuts, but did not taste like one and had a fake eating taste on it. the patty is also gluten-free, which is good to adapt to most meals in order to be gluten-free. updated by previous review on 2021-10-07"

"Myself and my friend were really looking forward to be eating at the hydeout. Staff; lackluster and seemed they couldn't be bothered. Cleaniness; sticky boothes, dirty cutlery, rip seats and altogether dirty. The whole place needs sorting. Won't return. Didn't mention anything to the staff..."

"We went to the Auckland arms on Sunday, as part of my dads 60th birthday celebration. We chose the pub because it was dog friendly, but we were really lucky to stumble across it. We were asked if we were interested in looking at the cocktail menu, there was a huge selection so we ended up trying them. Well, they tasted incredible! The man who made the cocktail really took pride in them, and came over to speak to us about them. They were just as good (probably better) than any bar I’ve been to in city centre Manchester. He was lovely, and we really enjoyed our visit and was really surprised. What a hidden gem!"
