"What a wonderful restaurant. As soon as we went into the door, we were met with great service by the staff. Our daughter had the duck soup (like a duck Pho) and she loved it. We had the crispy duck dish and it was great. The fried rice that came with him was the best I had for a while. The duck was so good. The only thing I didn't like was the curry sauce that came with him. It was made with coconut milk, but too sweet for me. That was a great meal and great staff. Well done."

הגענו בעקבות המלצות שהיו פה. הזמנו נודלס קיבלנו אטריות מרק עם ירקות מוקפצים עגבניה ומלפפון ורוטב קטשופ. רמה נמוכה. מאוד מאכזב והמחירים ממש לא זולים. לא ממליצה בכלל!

Have really good food, but not so great. One of the German waiters is super friendly and nice. The decor is a strange mix of old-fashioned Bavarian and Asian Jumble sale. Not a great ambience to sit Gor hours Ver carta

We went there as group of friends for dinner and ordered: Ga Nuoc Dua Special Vietnamese Duck Delicacy Rau Muong Xao Toi with 3 Leechee Flavoured White Wines. The restaurant staff spoke english and was prompt. The food tasted OK, not great!...Also, the cost of the food was not the range of value for money. Overall: 4 Stars

have visited the restaurant with friends in the evening. the chefin partly took care of us. Their possibilities to communicate in German (or English) are more than limited. it is hardly possible to understand them. the menu is very extensive and listens better than the quality then delivered. also you have to wait a long time (1 hour you should already Calculate). I have heard many good comments about eating, but I cannot agree with it. it is mediocre.

"Das in Ismaning schon seit Jahren ansässige indische Restaurant war am Sonntagabend sowohl im Außen- als auch im Innen-Bereich sehr gut besucht, es mussten einige Gäste sogar warten, bis ein Tisch frei wurden. Dies zeigt, dass das Restaurant weit über Ismaning hinaus bekannt ist und somit für sehr gute Küche spricht. Ich war zum ersten Mal da und wurde bei dem großen Speiseangebot beraten. Wie wählten jeweils zweimal zwei Gerichte jeweils div.Fleisch (Punjabi) und div.Fisch u.Garnelen (Seefood). Alles war ein Augen- und Gaumenschmaus, es geht nicht besser!! Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam nicht aufdringlich. Ich komme gerne wieder!!"

"Das Essen war super, das Restaurant ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit indischen Kunstwerken und Musik. Wir haben verschiedene Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Beilagen bestellt und alles war frisch, aromatisch und köstlich. Die Portionen waren großzügig und die Preise angemessen. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Klare Empfehlung für das Safran !"

"Die Pizzaria Da Umberto, hatte ein sehr ansprechenden Außenbereich, der als kleiner Biergarten gestaltet war. Die Atmosphäre dort war gemütlich und einladend. Die Preise des Restaurants waren auch völlig in Ordnung und entsprachen völlig der Qualität und des Services. Die Vorspeisenplatte war groß und sorgte für reichlich Abwechslung auf dem Teller. Die Vielfalt und der Geschmack waren wirklich richtig gut. Von der Pizza die ich bestellte, war ich leider nicht so beeindruckt. Obwohl sie gut geschmeckt hat, hat sie mich geschmacklich leider nicht so vom Hocker gehauen. Ich hätte mir da mehr in Bezug auf den Belag und den Geschmack gewünscht, um die Pizza auch so außergewöhnlich zu machen wie die Vorspeise. Ich würde aber trotzdem dort wieder essen gehen und wir hatte einen schönen Abend im Da Umberto."

"It is very important to say at the outset that this is a hard-working local business with, obviously, very loyal local clientele. From the moment we entered, there were a steady stream of friendly and very happy clients in a very busy restaurant. The Greek...staff could have treated us like the pass-through tourists that we were but made a real effort to ensure we were happy. The food is nothing special, absolutely fine. It is Greek standards served in Bavarian-sized portions. Don't order too much or go hungry! I would not necessarily remember this as either a good or a bad meal for the food, it was more like the experience of going to a local curry house in the north of England or a Moroccan place in Marseille. It is a solid and permanent part of the community and you get a sense of that place by going there. The food is simply average but enhanced by the overall atmosphere and friendly spirit."
