Lovely evening, great food, down to earth staff, great atmosphere.

fantastic and imaginatiw! went for the 5 course set menu to try a lot of different directed and we were not disappointed. would be highly recommended!

Okay. this was a part of eating adventurous in london. not like me what I had because I can't remember those names. they were mostly good. Coconut ice cream was good, but felt that nothing else can beat our own natural ice creams' bringnaturalicecreamstolondon

vanilla black has long been at the top of my “must-try” list of vegetarian restaurants in london. the birthday of a friend (and the later birthday gift voucher) was finally apologisable enough to visit the high-end restaurant, which offers the prices a little more staple than those of my usual.

A hugely disappointing meal much of it bordering, literally, on inedibel. Mad combinations of seemingly disperate and utterly mismatched elements. I got the feeling they were trying to go for a 'Heston Blumenthal ' style inventiveness, but this resulted in unhinged dishes of tasteless strangeness! The wine flight was very average too. Blow me away, afraid not.. I was looking forward to this restaurant, it has a certain intruige to it, off set from the main streets and a cool name. But unfortunately the food wasn't mind blowing. The service was great and the wine was crisp and excellent My friends really enjoyed their food, and I must say the celery shot was delicious and attractive to look at as was the general food presentation, but taste it ultimately lacked.

this is the type of vegetarian restaurant where it is in order to wear leather, in which did they do not need a non-meat food to enjoy the food here. there are no mushroom burgers, mung borons or pasta bakers on the menu in vanilla black, a rather simple looking restaurant in the city london, but then again it looks fooling maybe they are interested in knowing or not that andrew and his partner donna conroy are both vegetarian and drag their restaurant from york to the capital city before seven years and there is a bit about it. after visiting a few who looked at the being, they decided to choose their final choice and loved the tooks court website directly in...more

Don't Do It!. Having slept on my negative review of this restaurant last night see below, I have awoken today, even angrier. If I could just say that the food was excellent but I can't. Mayonnaise with pineapple! Two brussels sprouts! Purleeeeze. I now know what its like to be mugged in doors. Never again 19 Nov, 2011 Tiny Portions and Drizzle on Plates. I think the cold and souless restaurant Vanilla Black gives vegetarian food an even worse name. Add neurotic and expensive Odd combinations and self concious plate arrangements.
