"One of my favourite hotels in the world, probably because it is family owned and not part of some faceless chain. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the standards of décor and maintainance first class. I'd like bathtubs, but they only have showers, however the shower cubicles are large and luxurious and the water hot and plentiful. The staff are some of the best I have ever come across (although there is no help with carrying bags up the spiral staircase). I love the original oil paintings hung everywhere, and the design of the public rooms. Small, quirky, lounges break up the corridors in the hotel, and people donate books to a collection of guest's reading. The restaurant menu is superb, although it could do with changing a little more often, and this year has slightly less choice than in previous years. Regional and seasonal dishes make up the bulk of the menu, the ingredients used are mostly local, fresh, and first class. In the afternoons there is a tea-and-cakes menu and the gateau are original and different every day. You won't find better anywhere. Breakfast is superb, and a bargain at 5 euros. Wireless internet is a bit shaky sometimes, brilliant at others, although they have fitted wired internet in the newer rooms and this is breathtakingly fast. The nominal fee for internet access is rarely actually charged. I would thoroughly recommend this place for business or private use, you will not be disappointed."

"Waren gestern mir Freunden dort. Schöner Laden und sehr freundliches Personal. Es gab nichts zu meckern. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich hatte die 84 Tagliatelle Petto di Pollo Zafferano (Hähnchenbrustfilet in einer leichten Safran-Sahne-Sauce mit Zucchini und Cherrytomaten) für 14,50 €. Das Essen wurde heiß serviert, die Zucchini hatte Biss, Das Hähnchenfleisch war zart und saftig. Den anderen hat es auch geschmeckt, die hatten Paglia e Fieno und Paglia e Fieno a Pesto. Es war auch kein Problem die Tagliatelle gegen Spaghetti zu tauschen. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend. Danke"

"We were there on Saturday night. I was very pleasant surprise. Kellner was at the table with the cards and accepted the order for four people. We order the drinks. In no time were the drinks at the table. The food was very close to the table. Quality from the food was to be called tasty and good. The waiter was in trouble. all our special wishes immediately regulated. We were sitting outside. The cargo was also well visited in Corona. And always in accordance with the rules. We like to come back. Up."

"Taste, quantity and delivery speed are perfectly fine for a delivery service. The price is also reasonable. There are problems with complaints and the reprocessing. A lot is promised here, but not much. It is particularly bad that the delivery service Deliveryando promises to find a solution, but then does not care. There was a double order via PayPal (delivery) and a cash payment. Canceled by phone and the delivery was paid at the door. Unfortunately, the delivery service no longer remembers it and does not release the refund via PayPal. Despite multiple phone calls with the company and also Deliveryando, there was no pleasant solution. For us, the delivery service is no longer an option."

"Wir sind immer sehr gerne nach Wardenburg ins Golden Wu gefahren Essen ist auch weiterhin sehr lecker. Nur leider gibt es mittlerweile einiges, das uns überlegen lässt, ob wir das Restaurant auch weiterhin besuchen werden. Erstens ist da der Preis für Kinder für das Büffet (wurde auch schon hier bereits in anderen Bewertungen negativ erwähnt. Im Golden Wu wird der Preis anhand der Größe des Kindes berechnet. So muss z. B. ein zehnjähriges Kind, das 1,50 m groẞ ist, bereits den vollen Preis bezahlen. Da nützt auch die Aussage nichts, dass es auf der Karte spezielle Gerichte für Kinder gibt. Wenn man zum Büffet essen kommt, möchten die Kinder auch dieses. In jedem anderem Restaurant zahlen Kinder entsprechend ihres Alters und da zahlt ein zehnjähriges Kind nirgends den vollen Preis. Zweitens wurde jetzt für das Büffet am Abend eine feste Zeitspanne eingeführt, nach der man das Restaurant verlassen muss es sei denn, man zahlt einen Aufpreis. Und nun mussten wir gestern auch noch feststellen, dass beim Büffet am Mittag kein Sushi mehr angeboten wird. Antwort auf Reaktion: Wir gehen gerne mittags zum Buffet essen. Und ich liebe Sushi. In anderen Restaurants bekomme ich Sushi auch mittags. Daher werde ich diese dann bevorzugen.Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe"
