I think I mentioned that none of the six of us had had Xmas Day Lunch out before across combined ages of nearly 350 years! We chose you to celebrate with you as we have always been delighted with the food, ambience and team when we have eaten with you. Christmas Day was no exception … everything was perfect. We loved the food, the atmosphere, service was excellent and not rushed and everyone was delighted with their choices. I would heartily recommend you to anyone for any occasion and handling all your clients so brilliantly during what was a really busy service showed how good you are at what you do. "what a disappointment, never again. well booked in advance for a Saturday evening meal for three and was very excited about it. was in zaza both in bushey and in pinner and had nothing but good experiences, so thought it would be nice. to have a change of landscape in ruislip. how wrong I was. it was shown our table that was right next to the door and in the middle of the entrance, right where someone went to the restaurant that waited for her table, would float and not a suitable room to enjoy a quiet family dinner. I understand that the last years were challenging for restaurants, but even if they want to add some extra seats in less than ideal places, they should at least warn their patrons before they book them. When I asked if we could be moved, I was asked what was wrong with the table and when I pointed out that the unpleasant edification was welcomed by apathie. I asked if we could be changed to one of the many other empty tables in the venue and said that they were all booked, but that we could wait to see if someone was gone I had booked our table week to be clearly offered the worst place in the house and then essentially treated like an inconvenient walkable to ask left an extremely acid taste. I found the personal I spoke to be cold and quite rude. feeling frustrated and unintentional, we decided to take our business elsewhere and received a warm greeting and a beautiful meal on the road on the mamma pink."

"I booked a table 2 weeks in advance to celebrate our friend 's birthday. 8 days later the restaurant emailed me to say that they are cancelling my reservation due to being closed because of the refurbishment. After having spent the whole evening trying to book another restaurant (on valentine 's day weekend! , I decided to check Friends ' website only to find out that they were inviting people to celebrate valentines day with a special tasting menu. I called the restaurant and asked if I could book a table. Yes, they said. So you 're open? I asked. Yes, they were open. When I confronted the manager Keri Wessels , she offered no apology and spoke to me like a schoolmaster lecturing a naughty student. She clearly couldn 't give a toss about loosing a client. It 's a shame, I 've been to Friends once and I liked the food. But after having faced such appalling attitude I don 't think I will ever bother booking there again. How can I be sure that they won 't cancel my table last minute with some new excuse?"

"We had made a reservation at this restaurant for a special occasion two months in advance. The day before our reservation, Open Table asked us to confirm our booking, which we did. However, when we arrived at the restaurant on the day of our reservation, we found that it had closed down, ruining our special occasion. Today, Open Table sent me an email thanking me for dining at the restaurant and asking for a review. I checked the Open Table website and saw that the restaurant was no longer available for booking, indicating that Open Table must be aware of its closure. It is disappointing that Open Table did not inform us of this closure and continues to act as if the restaurant is still open. This lack of communication greatly affected our experience and I will be more cautious in relying on Open Table for future bookings."
