Food was filling and lovely to eat but would have preferred it all a little spicier. Reasonable value but be aware they only accept cash.

Unbelievably delicious food. We had the seabass and it was cooked to perfection and came quickly. Even the egg fried rice was amazing. Good service.

Lively restaurant with authentic Vietnamese food. You can take your own booze as they don't serve any. I had a tasty noodle dish with Vietnamese spring rolls. The Vietnamese coffee was nice too. Ver carta

Don't let the decor put you off becsuse thees food is well worth it. All dishes we had were demicious and thd staff were very friendly. After enjoying the food so much, I even liked the brightly coloured walls, which gave me a different first impression.

It’s open again! I am addicted to Vietnamese Cha Bem (spring rolls) and this place does the best spring rolls around. It’s been refurbed to extend to double the space but other than that no huge changes, still good unpretentious authentic food. So pleased to have this local gem open again.

Nice spot, efficient service, but food was sub-par not cheap. I had a rare beef pho, but there was hardly any meat what there was, was string, tough over-cooked. My daughters fried noodle dish was swimming in oil she was unable to finish it. No complaints from my wife about her fried prawn rice dish, but she did comment that the water glasses were dirty. ... I ordered two plater because I did not think one would be enough. Boy was I wrong. The fish dish actually a veg broth flavoured with seafood, a South East Asian specialty was delicious and with a whole fish in the dish, was a meal in its own right. I had veg noodles as well. If the place was warmer, and the staff cracked a smile, they would probably have got more money out of me. I might wear leggings next time and give them another chance...

Food was dry and tasteless. Service was all over the place, they forgot one of our dishes had to wait for them to cook it after we reminded them, and over the corner of my friends shoulder i saw a young girl carrying a dog around the kitchen. She brought the dog into the main restaurant and plonked it on the main reception worktop. Rather than quickly escort the girl and the dog out, she simply told her to take the dog back into the kitchen where I could clearly see her wandering around with it in her arms. The only thing stopping me walking out was I was starving and we'd already had the disappointment of Hullabaloo (just round the corner) being closed for unknown reasons.

4/4/22 Deptford Viet Rest This is not a review but it is a notice to say that the restaurant is being refurbished as from 24th of January. I passed it yesterday at 21:00 on the 4th of April as I wanted a Vietnamese meal with my friends but it was closed. I passed it again at 23:30 after going to similar PhoHanoi up the road instead and the wonderful Dog&Bell after to find a decorator/builder inside decorating the restaurant. It will be reopening at some point I expect. I have no idea of the prices when it reopens but they will probably be similar to the other restaurants as the food becomes more gentrified and hipster. Like the other similar Vietnamese restaurant it will probably not be ‘ ’... Ver carta
