"We had seen what they offered for that day when entering the park. Very appealing, so after touring the magnificent gardens with magnolia bloom and more spring splendor, we, of course, asked if they had a table for us on their sunny terrace. First al fresco meal of 2022! Other guests went straight to the terrace, but to enter the restaurant first gives you a glimpse of the great little pastries not to be missed. The menu was a mix of ambitious seasonal cuisine (a wonderful vegetarian mille feuille, e.g. and standard tourist fare like spaghetti bolognese (nobidy tried that while we were there . The waiter and the waitress conversed in whatever language came up. Including puns about the difference between Italian and Portuguese. The only flaw was that they didn 't warn us about the wine we had ordered being sparkly. But hey, it tasted wonderful. So did the espresso, and (see above the tiny pastries ..."

Enjoyed a pasta with lobster accompanied by a Rossi beer. Babila served us very well. Others had penne with tomato sauce and lasagne and all was good. Super place to finish off a visit to the Villa Taranto gardens. Ver carta

Lengthy wait and then an assumption made we would eat whereas we simply wanted a drink when we politely declined food the waitress took umbrage. Very unusual in Italian restaurants and we have been visiting the Villa for years. Unimpressive

Very nice place in the spectacular gardens of Villa Taranto. Bar service excellent very good food start from variety of snack including proper meals. Superb fresh juice prepared to Your orders, very refreshing for the warm days. Well worth it to visit.

Great choice of Italian food with a reviewed flavors combination. I entered the restaurant and I was a little bit skeptical because few years ago it used to be just a bar with snacks: I was totally wrong! New chef, new menù and high quality food (Michelin star level). Not to mention that you sit just aside one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe. Highly recommended. Ver carta

3.0 after 200 reviews! You guys are so mean. Come on, it’s a tourist cafe, you get a 4 buck cappuccino. It’s your fault for ordering after 11 am, you plebs. The only thing I will say: the background music was the worst, worst cover of The Girl From Ipanema I have ever heard. That girl be walking, each one she passes go aaaargh! Is it fair to judge a cafe by its music? Look, I think we’re past that point by now. I’m just murdering a corpse. Four stars.

after the garden, like many people we stopped to have drinks but... The order was wrongly taken and the waitress came with something else... We wanted to pay at the cashier with our credit card and we were answered « we dont take it bellow 10€ », although it is written nowhere... While we were drinking we saw the waiters giving fingers at each other having words on customers, as well as what they ordered in Italina too bad, i DO speak italian)..like « la signora grassa prende solo un bicchiere d'acqua..!! » so overall, we were shocked by the un-professional manners and the gross atittude of the staff. it could be a nice place, but obviously lacks a manager...
