"Came here after reading good reviews for a birthday meal. Was seated straight away and drinks order taken and poppadoms brought and order for food quickly taken. Food was ok, nice fresh and hot and quickly served but the service after it was brought to...the table was poor. We were not asked if food was ok or offered any further drinks even though we both finished our drinks just after the food was served . When plates were cleared we were then just left sitting at the table. No hot towels , no dessert menu or offer of coffees. The two serving staff were quite happy just chatting to each other behind the bar. After 35 mins we had to go and ask for the bill (as did the table behind). This was a Sunday evening and not overly busy. I had high expectations and although the food was nice but the lack of attention would mean I won’t be going back."

Food taste like perfume or some sort of detergent. Especially the tikka and mint sauce. Couldn’t eat.

We've only ever had a takeaway and delivery. Great prompt delivery, food is hot on arrival. Very good menu choices and good prices. Excellent meat ingredients and vegetables too.

Really not enjoyable at all. The poppadoms were greasy, the meat in the bhuna was very tough. The naan was undercooked and the bombay potatoes hard. Complete waste of money it all went in the bin.

We popped in here early evening and had a nice meal. Only downside when paying I asked if they got the tips if paid on a card and was told no. All tips should go to waiting staff not management as the meal is pricey...anyway

Overall the meal was faif. The chicken dansak was fine, along with the pillau rice and bhindi bhaji. However, the lamb tikka that came up as a starter was very tough, perhaps, as I believe, it was overcooked, this let the the experience down.

eating was as beautiful as it is always! only sader point for me was that they have taken "prawn cocktail" from the starters! I know it's old hat, but it's one of the few places that serves this joy that is in my mind. “Timeless” come on the village indiya, put it back, then they would be perfect!

Compared to other Indian restaurants where I usually get my usual take-away from this was pretty poor. Butterfly King Prawn... where was the salad to go with it? All you get is a butterfly king prawn and sauce... no salad to bulk it out. Chicken...Tikka Massala... could've done with 2 or 3 more bits of chicken, left me hungry. And no complimentary rice as others do. Plain naan, more on the burnt side than anything. Overall I won't be returning. For the same price I'll return to the more trusted places.
