"I was with my friend tonight at the night market in st. pauli, because I wanted to taste this delicious burgers after my friend said a lot good about it. he was right! they are super tasty, you can choose between different burgers that are prepared with different ingredients from the place. the workers wear gloves, the serviettes and containers are on recycled paper. the trips are between 6 and 9 euro for the burgers and between 4 and 6 for the hot dogs. there are also pommes or sweet potato frenchries with three different sauces. after eating we were tired and satisfied (this is not easy). top! I am looking forward to our next visit, perhaps to the brunch in phoenixhof"

We visited this place in Reeperbahn, and ate some amazing vegan cheesburgers! Definetly recommend this place for vegans and also for non vegans!

local vegan food, Sundays make brunch buffet for 18€ very good with quite variety, the only glue is the location that is not central. of very recommended rest. Ver carta

As long as I'm in hamburg, I go to Sunday brunch, for its quality, it never fails, the best: guacamole, egg salad, roasted vegetables, hummo, crudites, sausages, sweets, tofu scrambled, chilli with meat, all very good.

we were there in the evening in the week and do not understand why it was not viiiiiel full. I had a really tasty bowl (natalie bowlman), the service is top and rounded off the whole by a fantastic dessert (brownie with caramel and caramelized nuts)

Having just become a vegetarian but being a bit scared of going the whole hog (bad phrase I know)...the food in this place is inspiring. everything I ever bought from the food truck was oberlecker. I'm really out! but even better is the brunch in deli. I can now say the best vegan brunch I know and I want to say I know a lot of Germany. but nothing and no one comes to the tasty variety, especially the self-made salads, touchesofu, mac’n’cheese andand .you will find me from now on every weekend with the head in the "egg"salat bowl;)

find it great that the deli of vincent vegan opened in the phönixhof and now offers great meals and drinks at lunch and evening. my pizza with the pumpkin soup was very tasty, but most of the time I was thrilled by the night: although a bug bar doesn't sound particularly spectacular, this one was just my taste. there is a point to go for the service: we had to wait forever for our food, and the red smoothie we had ordered was forgotten. this should be optimized in the middle of the day, as the least 1.5 hours of lunch break is likely. but I will see more often here. also the location is great!

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
