"After we have tried various places to eat on a bank holiday to discover it completely booked or rude fellow workers, we have luck with our 5th attempt. it was so refreshing to be welcomed and informed, there were food available. our friends were vegan and this place had a lot of choice surprising for them! we had happy to arrive during the happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails. I chose a distinctive mojito that was made beautiful. for beginners I really wanted to taste chicken wings or the mac n cheese, but I worship bulton. When that came, it was just like the one my friend had brought back from Malawi. it was convenient to use a paper bag that offers a medium for snacks later and kitty tasty. for the net order all hate one? a thick broth plate, filled with various meats such as lamb or pebbles. I had a bobadi dish that were baked with mint. all seasoned were perfect and generous. overall really good service and a beautiful variety especially for vegan vegan vegans."

"We were very excited to experience the food at Stretford canteen given the rav reviews, we chose the restaurant instead of Street Urchin in Ancoats my sons 30th birthday, we were disappointed to be regretting our choice. The flavour of the food was good however the quality and quantity didn’t meet our expectations, the short rib was exceptionally fatty so you couldn’t eat much of it and we ended up having to order more to feel satisfied. The accompanying purées and vegetables weren’t enough for the men in our party of five. I was also disappointed by the texture of the choices bun and the amount of crème patisseries The bill for five was £288 that’s a lot of money for us, we were hoping for some special and we were also rushed out of the restaurant and I wasn’t advised there was a time on the table. Sadly the restaurant didn’t live up to the hype. We won’t be returning."

"Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future. The cod, although slightly smaller than expected, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were among the best I’ve had in a long time. The pea fritters, black pudding fritters, and tartare sauce were also excellent. In-house pies were available as well, so I sampled the cheese and onion and meat and potato varieties and can recommend both. There is parking available across the street and on-street. However, the opening hours might not suit those looking for a lunchtime meal, as at the time of this review, the hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Sunday and Monday. "Buen sitio en Salford en el que poder degustar pizzas y helados. Nosotros probamos las pizzas y estaban muy sabrosas. Pedimos las más grandes, concretamente la Siciliana, con berenjena como ingrediente destacado, y la Manchester, muy contundente por todo lo que lleva. Las pizzas sacian bastante, no necesitarás más si pides una grande por persona, quizás hasta te sobre. Dueño simpático y atento. El local es pequeño, prácticamente tiene dos sillas y una barra, es preferible pedir para llevar a casa. Nos queda repetir para probar los helados."

"I've passed this place so often and always said I'll try this place. at least on the 15th january I did that and I was not disappointed. from the moment they go through the door, they are greeted with a smile, they are not rushed. to place an order, they are relaxed when they order their drinks and eat. the brave are the best. we had four between us and it was full. the house wine on the glass is expensive £3 for 125ml, which works £18 per bottle. However, the bottle price was around £11 so cheaper to buy the bottle when they share. I would definitely go back. and liz liptrot"
