"We were here at a local menu offer with 4 couples in the evening. There was a 4-course menu with accompanying wines. The food was first-class, we were all 8 really pleasantly surprised. The more so since we all live in Raesfeld and had not yet tested this restaurant. This was certainly due to the fact that the price structure blows up the place at first glance and looks rather deterrent. At the second glance, the ambience (modern and directly in the historic Raesfelder Wasserschloss) as well as the quality of the excellent and unusual dishes were worth every cent. And one thing I can assure you: from Steaks I really know: the parents of my former partner are Argentineans, the father in Germany at that time trained the grillers for Maredo and Churrasco and turned me into a steak junkie... The service also deserves its name here, the staff were trained with regard to food and wine at the highest level. We liked it so well that we booked a table for 8 for the time of the Christmas market in Raesfeld!"

"In diesem Bistro gibt es eine Vielzahl leckerer Speisen allerhöchster Qualität. Da die Zutaten stets frisch sind schmeckt es auch super. Die Portionen sind reichlich. Es gibt auch immer wieder etwas neues zu sehen, ob die schönen kleinen live Musikabende oder Grillfleisch vom Smooker. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Weiter so."

"Spontan haben wir uns entschlossen dem Restaurant einen Besuch abzustatten. Meine Frau und ich waren schon einmal vor etlichen Jahren dort und hatten keine gute Erinnerung, weil es damals sehr überfüllt war und es sehr hektisch dort zuging. Aber es hat sich alles zum Positiven geändert. Natürlich ist in einem Ausflugslokal mit vielen Gästen zu rechnen. Aber wir hatten Glück und konnten einen Tisch bekommen. Das Lokal ist in einer großen Scheune, hat auch diesen etwas urigen Charakter, und ist innen sehr offen gehalten. Dadurch entwickelt sich natürlich eine laut wirkende Geräuschkulisse. Hat uns aber nicht gestört, denn wir wollten nur auf der Durchreise etwas Essen. Das Personal war Aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten Schnitzelkrüstchen mit Schmorzwiebeln, Spiegelei, Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Das Fleich hatte eine sehr gute Qualität (vom BIO Schwein), das Ei hatte ebenfalls BIO Qualität, die Bratkartoffeln waren knusprig und nicht in Öl ertränkt, der Salat war Spitzenklasse war sehr gut gewürzt und in einer feinen Vinigrette. Zum Schluss noch eine Rechnung die einem Wiederkommen zuspricht."

"Nach einer Spazierfahrt kehrten meine Frau und ich dort ein. Wir saßen draußen auf der Terrasse. Bequeme Stühle und schöne Tische, kleiner Nachteil, unmittelbar an einer Straße. Dies war zwar nicht stark frequentiert, deshalb auch nur ein Stern Abzug. Das kam recht bald nach der Bestellung. Mein Reis mit Lammkotelett war einfach nur super lecker, die Portion absolut angemessen. Meine Frau hatte Gyros mit Käse überbacken an Metaxasouce. Auch das war ein leckeres Essen."
