Come here quite often for work lunches.. good atmosphere very good service and steaks are good. The ostrich is particularly good.

Nice place. Good tasting food but I thought it was overpriced. There are other better value for money places to eat in this location.

Humble Grape referred us to Vivac Bacchus understanding our interest in South African wine. No disappointment here. Great wines. Great advice. And a few carefully boxed to fit in my luggage. Ver carta

We enjoyed our meal here last night. Super steaks and good fries but the highlight for me was the wonderful Italian Blue. The house wines were excellent and great value. Good service and overall we enjoyed the occasion.

We had a business lunch with a client here yesterday and we were all really impressed with the food and the service. Welcomed by staff and seated at a quiet table (34). Francois looked after us and Anna the restaurant made us feel at home, thank you. Food was tasty go for the burger and ask for cheese too. Would go back for sure thank you all

Took my team for a meal scallops were beautiful, two had sea bass and said it was the best they’d had. The rest had steak which were tasty, I had a tomato and basil salad with mine, hardly ant basil but lovely tomatoes. Cheese board really tasty and a nice mix, chocolate fondant disappointing bought in and not worth the £7.95 however cheesecake was delicious . Gorgeous wines and good service Ver carta

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Steak and cheese are my favourite foods, so love that they have both! The service is always amazing. It is a little bit expensive, but the food is great. Like a lot of places, the cheese selection used to be better before Brexit, but they still have a good range to choose from, and you can choose what cheese you want for a custom cheeseboard in the cheese room.

The purpose of the lunch was a reunion of friends who joined the same Firm over 42 years ago. We meet up once a year for a 'leisurely ' lunch. We received a friendly welcome from the outset and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. We we not put under any pressure to leave the restaurant which was important too. The food was good and the range of South African wines was excellent. We will go again.

A group of six of us get together every couple of months for a gentlemen 's lunch . We first went to Vivat Bachus almost exactly five years ago and enjoyed it, so decided to return. How things have changed! We went on a Friday lunchtime and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant., making it one of the flattest environments I can recall in recent years. The Cheese Room, which we so enjoyed last time, is shut and the South African dishes such as ostrich are no longer on the menu. We all thought there was a good chance it may not be around that much longer. I had carpaccio and a sirloin steak and I have to confess they were both very good, which is the only reason I have rated this as three... Ver carta
