"Overall great restaurant. I would recommend you come a little early, or get ready to wait, since it tends to have very long queues to go in, especially during the weekend. Once seated we were served very quickly and the waitress was just amazing. We didn't manage to finish all our food and she very nicely assisted us in packing the leftovers so that we could take them home with us. The food is really good, however I think you can find a few more authentic restaurants in Edinburgh. Nevertheless, had a great experience. They are very allergen friendly. Extensive menu."

Staff are kind and food is great. Avoid peak times as there's a queue outside always. They nearly forgot my food but I guess it was a busy night

We went yesterday as an unplanned visit as another restaurant overbooked his tables... we had a great time. The food was delicious, tasteful, creative, spicy, fresh. we had some of the best gyoza

Everything at this restaurant is excellent, with generously sized dishes. The yakisoba is especially delicious. Prices are slightly above average. Service is for dine-in meals, with lunch costing between £20-30 per person.

One of my favorite places in Edinburgh! The service is kind, attentive, and welcoming, including the kitchen staff who are always working efficiently and with a smile on their faces. The food is always interesting and full of flavor. The queues outside are proof that this is a restaurant worth trying! Service: Dine in; Meal type: Dinner.

The same dish from the menu tasted different and seemingly with a slightly different recipe in this branch. Serving portion of soup-based dishes were always inconsistent, too. Juices were sometimes only 3/4 and again inconsistent with their serving portion. Central location and convenient for a quick meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Every dish was expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors. The staff, especially Ola, was attentive and friendly, making the evening memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant for a top-quality dining experience. Food: 5 stars.

Unplanned supper given a table straight away. Shared 4 dishes chicken kebabs prawn kebabs cauliflower side and greens side . The chicken in teriyaki sauce like warm and the cut of chicken disappointing. Would have liked all my dishes served together quite a as it after being served the green veg first. Glass of sauvignon ok based on my visit wouldn't rush to go back Service: Dine in

This was honestly the worst restaurant experience I have had in Edinburgh. The food was below average (we had the chili chicken ramen and the regular chicken ramen as well as the vegetable gyoza). The service was truly terrible. My friends food came and no one noticed my food has not arrived for over 20 minutes because the servers didn’t check on us. I had to ask for my food from another server, it wasn’t even being made. Truly not worth it. If you want ramen head to maki and ramen it’s far better and there are way better Asian food places in town.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
