We were there following a family memorial service in Charing. Lovely garden and the food was very good.

Delicious mushroom wellington and an absolutely delicious apple crumble with the right amount of custard...

Always a good meal. Plenty of space , for social distancing. A lot of care taken to inform folk of rules ect. Very clean , Service good. Good selection on the Menu. Ver carta

Just stopped off for lunch as I hadn't been for years. Still as friendly as ever. Food and service was great a lovely family run pub would definitely recommend a visit

We went for lunch last Saturday, sat in the fabulous garden with our dogs. The food was delicious especially the steak and kidney pudding! Staff all very friendly and welcoming.

Came for Sunday Lunch and the group had a mix of dinners ranging from Traditional Sunday Lunch to Scampi to Burgers. All looked and tasted great with large portions and great flavours. The Large Sunday Lunch was as described and each of the 3 meats were really good and loads of crispy roasties. Will be back and not surprised booking is advised. Ver carta

Lovely rural setting with great woodland walks, which are accessed directly behind the pub. Very dog friendly in bar area and garden! Staff were friendly and welcoming. The Sunday menu was varied, with the usual roasts, burgers, salads and fish dishes. I had the cheese burger, but wasn't terribly impressed with its flavour. Will probably visit again when in the area.

A proper pub with good food at sensible prices. Unlike many pubs which have become pretentious, you get decent portions, too. Friendly staff keep the beer in perfect condition. A real treasure. I haven't stayed there but visit for Vintage Motorcycle Club meetings. The pies are excellent, proper pies not stew in a dish with pastry on top. Fish is cooked to perfection.

We stayed at The Wagon Horses for a Motorhome stop over very good facilities . The meals we had were absolutely fabulous and home cooked i had the belly of pork in hoisin sauce it was tasty and the pork melted in your mouth. my husband had homemade steak kidney pudding the meat was lovely . staff were welcoming and the pub was modern inside clean. We wish you was nearer to where we live we diffidently would be in regularly. What a great chef !! Thank you. Ver carta
