"This place could have easily been a 5 star however the one main thing letting it down was the available seating, the room was extremely cramped and difficult to maneuver and made it quite awkward with the other customers trying to eat. Nevertheless the service here was top standard the staff was extremely nice and helpful and there were constantly available so the service was quick even at peak times, the toilets were clean and safe to use with all locks working fine and also had a baby nappy changing facilities. The food quality for the price was good definitely worth a trip for a quick bite what ever the time, can easily get a good filling meal well worth the money. However if you were to consider going here for a date I would much recommend the other store of wasabi in the print works, much more space and much nicer and calmer atmosphere. The picture is of the Curry Udon pork belly with the tonkatsu broth as well as the extra chili oil!"

I dined here with Sasha J last week for lunch and, as usual, the experience was quick, delicious, and affordable.

This sushi bar is one of three Wasabi restaurants in Manchester, located in The Printworks, a part of town I seldom frequent.

I recently visited the Wasabi branch at Printworks, Manchester, after having only been to a different location a few years ago. Ver carta

One of my favorite places to eat! The tonkotsu ramen tastes amazing, and the sushi is always fresh. The staff here is consistently friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic sashimi and a large selection of Hong Kong style desserts. Prices are very reasonable, the sashimi rice bowl and dessert cost £8.25 and £4 respectively.

I visited a dimly lit restaurant on the top floor, and I'm so glad we decided to go! They have a fantastic selection of Asian and Western desserts, all served by wonderful staff. I can't recommend the "brown cheese" dessert highly enough; it's absolutely delicious. I will definitely be trying it again from the menu! Ver carta

This place is fantastic! I've visited several times over the years and consistently enjoy both the restaurant and the dessert room, which both offer excellent quality. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that it can feel quite cramped, with little room to move at times. Wasabi is quite popular, so it tends to get very busy. A big thank you to the staff, who work incredibly hard to keep everything running smoothly, even during peak hours. I've enjoyed every visit!

absolutely delicious. I had the chicken yakisoba and my bf had the chicken catsu curry. The huh is just incredibly good. so soft and delicate but crispy and well cooked. probably the best huh I ever had. in any case come more often. the personal is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable and not too expensive. I think for 2 dishes and 2 drinks we pay about £12 per person, which is very affordable. they have a conveyor belt with different sushi sides and they can have a meal deal with 4 gray plates and a main plus drink for like £14. we were in the basement, which is quite small but still enough space for many people. large square

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
