"We booked the teppanyaki for my son’s birthday as it’s something he’s always wanted to try. The chef was great fun and the food was all fresh and tasty. The scallops were tiny but tasty. It was £40 per person which is really expensive for what you actually get the portions are tiny and we were still hungry when we got home. Drinks were also expensive we had 7 bottled beers, 2 colas and a hot sake. Our bill for five of us came to £290. I don’t regret going as it was a fun experience, we all enjoyed it and the food was fresh and tasty but I couldn’t justify returning at that price for essentially a few tapas size portions of food. For £40 you get Small bowl miso soup One scallop Two tiger prawns A table spoon size portion of teriyaki chicken A piece of steak the size of a mars bar Few fried cabbage leaves A small cup of egg fried rice One pancake with single scoop of ice cream Coffee or tea"

My first time here and will definitely come back. Fish and steak on the menu was really well cooked with a lot of showmanship by the experienced chefs All round great time had by us all.

We booked as a group with 2 gluten free (1 coeliac) they cooked the gf food first and the rest of the groups afterwards. Turns out the soy sauce used on the gf food wasn't gf meaning one of our guests were unwell that evening. Other than that, an enjoyable experience for others.

I ordered takeout through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, my order was missing the wings and teriyaki sauce. The food arrived lukewarm, even though I live less than a 10-minute car ride away. I ended up paying £50 for sushi and bland chicken nuggets. I was very disappointed and won't be ordering from them again.

The food was absolutely lovely. The lady helped us pick as I'm not familiar with Japanese food. One big criticism, because we ate off the menu instead of teppanyaki we couldn't get a dessert. I heard a waiter ordering ice cream for the teppanyaki guys but my lady couldn't let my 12 year old have it. After questioning it again we were offered a pancake. No thankyou.

I went to this restaurant for my birthday dinner. The starters were good, but the main course and dessert were just average. I don't think it was worth the £40 per person price tag. The chef was nice, but not very chatty. There was an excessive amount of garlic in the dishes and the flavors in both the starter and main course were too similar. Overall, it was okay but not great value for money. Additionally, they tried to claim I hadn't paid my £20 deposit, but I was able to prove that I had. Be cautious of that. I wouldn't go back to this restaurant.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who told us where our friends were sitting. Decor was lovely. Having never had Japanese food before we were stuck on what to order. Our friends had some sushi, the bento box and some seafood Udon. Me and My partner had around 4 tapas dishes (gyoza, panka, yakitori and spring rolls) and a bowl of chicken rice which was huge! All in all the food was delicious. Our tapas was brought put at random times but it was ok. We never got our plates cleared so service was minimal. Gents toilets were disgusting and Smelly. Ladies toilets no so bad but very small and damp. Service 2* Food 4.5*

Normally love teppanyaki but last night had the saddest, least flavoursome example of this type of food. The moment we arrived we were rushed to the table despite the fact that we were not late. The food did not look or taste fresh, garlic was not cooked through , eating raw garlic is unpleasant. Everything fish or crustaceans related was covered in an unflavoured yellow mayonnaise. Dessert was the usual for Sheffield pancake with vanilla ice cream but this time limited fruit on the plate, no flamed alcohol just dollops of cheap bottled chocolate sauce or cheap bottled syrup. There was no attempt at a show and our cook didn’t have the courtesy to finish his own service. Shame on you ! All of...

I first visited this restaurant for the teppanyaki experience around 10 years ago and fell in love with it, so much so that I brought all my friends back with me. Last night, I returned for a friend's birthday dinner (not teppanyaki) and once again, it was exceptional. The setting was wonderful, the service was great, and the food was delicious...it was perfect. We ended up with so much food that we couldn't finish it all. I am already looking forward to returning soon. The staff even allowed us to bring and eat our own birthday cake, and stayed with us long after our meal to play games. We never felt rushed, which was perfect as we don't get together often. The fact that the restaurant has...

"After I had a series of bad visits in our local francie and benny filialen, I was reserved to visit. after an evening event in sheffield arena, this was the only place where we could get a table. I can't believe how different it was at our earlier visits in our local. the coworkers were all excellent. they were helpful and dedicated and attentive. we fought to decide what to eat (supply for the waitress who came 3 times to our order as we lasted so long) so ordered to share several dishes. the whole food was hot and served in good time. beautiful crispy fries. the chicken parmigiana was huge and served both with a good part of spaghetti and fries. very tasty and a good coating of brotkrust with exactly the right amount of sauce. really enjoyed the bacon kartoffel skins and acid cream. my daughter had a burger who looked very nice, but she totally defeated her when it was quite big. I was honest about the quality of food and how different this experience was for others. we had a couple of cocks. the blueberry crucifixion was amazing. really refreshing and a nice fizz. the prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. perfect for drivers or non-trinkers who want something more beautiful than a soft drink. a very pleasant meal and excellent evening. still shocked how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants can be from the same chain. we'll see you next time in sheffield. well made frankie and benny’s entertainment center"
