found for short search over tripadvisor and also went directly.The menu is pleasantly small, the wine card (regional typical) large and the service friendly. the band noodles with garnel and lobster sauce were delicious. I dare to doubt whether the sauce was self-made. also the spinach dumplings wounded. in general, something more sensitive should be tasted. the floor-to-ceiling kitchen invites and is recommended.

Reserved a table on the terrace and got a nice place with a view of the Rhine (see photo, with a view of the Rhine and the Crass Castle). All tables were occupied, so: reservation recommended! When asked about a wine recommendation, the lady seemed a little arrogant: she gave me the feeling you are a wine banana! Salad: The salad sauce tasted strongly after finished sauce and the beef strips were very dry. For the crowd, the price was too expensive. Spinach dumplings: From taste not bad but unfortunately very nicely muddy. Table Tip: Super delicious! White wine was good.

we were in a registered group of approx. 30 people there, eating was pre-ordered. the service is very competent, incredibly flott and friendly. I liked it very well, but the bouillon potato as a supplement were not so much my ding, just too filthy. for that the meat (panel tip) was extremely delicious. the local has no parking space, which could possibly be a few guests. for this there is a great outdoor area/terrace with views of the Rhine. inside it is a bit dark and very rustic when sitting on the very old-baked wooden chairs with braided sitting surface, it will eventually become unpleasant despite chair cushions. it would not be bad to exchange these for better comfort and the comfort o...

first of all, the yellow house impresses with its beautiful outside area with views of the eltviller castle and the surrounding weinberge. the service staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. also children are welcome and get a pretty jewellery at the end. the ambiente is very good. Unfortunately, eating has left more and more in the past few years, so that we decided this year not to go there anymore. already last summer, it is clear that the quality of meat became worse, the dishes smaller....not what you can remember after a few weeks in the sense of: that was particularly delicious, as we go again. the worst came in winter 2016: an absolutely and completely inviolable escape....

We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste.
