Chewy like wet toilet...roll innards. But with less taste. Fish was fine but thin and meagre and the chips were pretty rank. I can only think the cooking oil was not hot enough and the batter had been cut with wallpaper paste. I can eat, but in living memory I can not remember a time when I left more than my gag reflex let pass You are, by far, the worst chippy I have ever heard of!"

nice fish and chips, but for a takeaway with a humble piece of fish? two pieces at most places worth under poor.

It was the worst fish supper I have ever had . It was soggy and very greasy . Totally inedible. All went in the bin .

Had tea here and was really happy,food was ace,staff couldn’t do enough for us and price was also great.couldnt fault them.

the teig was quite soggy and I had to go back to my apartment only 5 minutes. it was also more expensive. would not recommend it.

Chips not great, should not serve sub standard food. Either reheats or lying too long but very poor. Won't be back in a hurry, no excuse for not serving fresh food.

I'll keep it short. The chips were decent and cooked reasonably well. However the fish was poor. The batter was too thick and came away from the fish in strips. The fish itself was over-cooked which was a shame as it was a decent fillet...of fish. Disappointing, I expect better from a chippie.

we had the basic fish and chips from here when we arrived in bute and ate it at the sea, as it is only a short walk from the sea magnificent! the fish was tasty and the teig was crispy and had a nice taste. the chips were somewhat soft, but nothing to complain. some people complained about the value, but we had no problem with the size of the portion at all.
