Fantastic little pub. Great service and friendly staff. The food is yummy too. Would definitely recommend.

Food was lovely but service wasn’t the best no one acknowledged us as we walked in. We didn’t no were to sit and had to walk over and wait for the chatting bar maids to stop talking. They also couldn’t find the menus.

The website is impressive. I hadn't been here for years, it hadn't changed dramatically, still a local pub with football on and fun locals to banter with. The food was hot (mum was impressed with hot plates which is a rare thing to find). Enjoyed it a lot and will certainly be back. Ver carta

Lovely well presented pub. However, I wasn't impressed with the food. I'd gone for Sunday lunch. However, the vegetables all had butter in them. I'm allergic to butter and margarine. Why put it in, why not let the customer put it in themselves. Once it's in you can't take it out. Such a shame.

Terrible. 4 dinners came out and got sent back to be warmed up as they was freezing. I payed £4 for 3 pigs in blankets and only got 2. 2 roasties on the dinner. Also the waitress had her long hair down and I found a hair in my food. Poor quality do not recommend this place prices are very dear aswell for a small plate

I booked a table for a meal which we were looking forward to after a busy day only to be told there was no chef available as he had to go home early, but after sitting down we were told by someone who's a regular, that the pub hasn't had a chef in awhile. Very poor as this should be stated on website before bookings can be made. Ver carta

Had a meal a change from hospital food. It took about half an hour to recieve the food after our order, only another family was in so it wasnt overly busy. We ordered a starter and 2 mains, they later asked if we wanted the starter 1st or with our mains, so as we needed to get back to the hospital we had it all together, nachos, fish and chips, and burger and chips, very nice food, served hot, and presentable. Would go ago again if we are in hospital across the road x

Booked an accessible table for my disabled partner and myself but was unable to get onto the carpark as there was work vans parked in the disabled spots so wasn't able to get wheelchair out of car. Couldn't park on front again work vans parked partially across the entrance to carpark while they were changing flower baskets so never even got to sit down. Went in and spoke to staff but they were unable to help to we went to a Havester off J8 M62 which is always 10 out of 10.

We booked the mothers day special for 5.30. 22.99 for 3 courses and a blackberry gin and tonic for any mums. There was 6 of us booked in. We got there at just after 5. There wasn't a table reserved and it was very busy with men watching the match. Noone was eating. We went to the bar and I said we r booked in for food, she asked was I nikki. I replied no. She said oh OK well just find a table!we has a look around and really didnt look like anyone in the kitchen was cooking. A customer said no oint ordering food in here they haven't got half the menu. We said we r here for a mothers day dinner, he said good luck with that. We spoke to the other girl behind the bar who with no apology at all s... Ver carta
