Fabulous, can't rate this enough, gluten free menu, lovely choices, caring staff. Our fav restaurant.

The food quality and service were outstanding. Our waitress, Hall, was incredibly attentive and exceptional. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The menu was great! So many choices to choose from! I've tried the halloumi burger and the chicken ceaser wrap! 100% my favourite Staff were so professional and down to earth! Such great team work and they made me feel very welcome! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I will be going again 1000

Have eaten in the white hart several times have never been disappointed and have recommended it to friends as food is great service from the staff very good. Unfortunately the menu has changed and the last meal I had was unacceptable and way over priced!!. Things have gone up sure , but I felt we were ripped off with my particular item on the menu . we were just over after we saw a local high-time location and I must say that everything about this pub was fantastic. the food was 10/10, the staff was friendly and attentive and the garden and inside were beautiful. the menu also had many great, different options. even if we don't live very locally, it will be here again: (below are tanned and pesto-frries, pork-buckles and crispy chicken wings.

In any case, it took no more than 90 seconds from the moment we entered until we were seated. Another minute later, our drinks were served. The food was excellent, but the true highlight of this place is the staff. They are efficient and wonderfully attentive. They have a knack for picking up on the right vibe, and everything seems to run smoothly. This is one of the best pubs in Essex; they have won several awards, which I believe are well-deserved.

I had the wild boar burger and my partner ordered the ribs. Both dishes were visually appealing and tasted incredible. The burger was incredibly tender and juicy, while my partner's ribs were so tender that they practically fell off the bone. She said they were the best ribs she's had in as long as she can remember. The staff was welcoming and polite, going above and beyond to be helpful. The beer garden is perfect for enjoying a sunny day like today, and we will definitely be returning regularly.
