"Went for breakfast on our way to do some shopping! We were met by Simon who from the start was exceptionally welcoming attentive! We both selected the unlimited cooked option which entitled us to literally what the name suggests, we could order as much...hot cooked food as many times as we wanted, along with a full choice of the continental buffet, which also had a fantastic array of options! All the hot food was cooked to order was exceptionally fresh more importantly hot! I had poached eggs with my breakfast they were cooked to perfection! The quality of produce was also very noticeable we both said we'd definitely return! Along with the food, the hot drinks, fruit juice toast was also unlimited. From the fresh fruit, berries, choice of cereal, yoghurts, pancakes, muffins, pastries, bagels, crumpets to all the selection of the full english I couldn't praise it enough! Also a special shout out to Simon who was not only extremely attentive but the perfect staff member to have as front of house, absolutely nothing was too much trouble we will definitely be back!"

eating was excellent and so was the service. the staff was very friendly and helpful. we had breakfast the next day and the food and service was just as great. will definitely be back to visit!

we stayed one night in the premier inn next to this pub so we decided to eat dinner here. Once we arrived, we were separated from a dame in a stained dress with a black lace (wish I had their names). was so rude and miserable. She immediately apologised us because she made us uncomfortable all night so that we ate our food and went as soon as possible!

Booked dinner for Mothering Sunday. Table position very poor. Air con unit blowing constant cold air over us. Where should I start. Ordered an ultimate roast. Was told after no Chicken left. Said would make up with more meat to compensate. Dinner arrived was barely...warm. No extra meat to replace Chicken. All roasts the same. Had to ask for gravy when half way through our dinner's. My dinner was smaller than the other . Also no pig's in blanket. My partner's burger meal was awful. Meat very tough and chips rock hard. Child's meal came but without thing's we asked for. Not good at all. Staff were apologetic reading having to ask for gravy e.t.c.. Will not be returning and won't recommend to...
